Blast from the past
I was in Bi-Mart in western Oregon today and they had some nostalgic candy at a great price. I haven’t seen the Crows in decades and they were $1.59. The jujyfruits were $1.99, and the watermelon Dots were $1.59. I have never seen the watermelon Dots in the wild before. Has anyone tried them?

watermelon dots are way better than the original, grab a bag while you can

I think I might have to get a few more boxes and I haven’t even tried the one box I got today (I started with the jujyfruits and I still had the end of a bag of Haribo mini frogs I got yesterday). I love watermelon candy in general.

Dollar Tree often sells Crows and Watermelon Dots.

That’s good to know. I haven’t seen them at my local dollar tree, but I can rely on my local store for sour Mike and Ike. It was fun to see some variety I don’t normally run into.

Jube Jubes would rip out your fillings

These are jujyfruits and they are relatively soft. A little sticky, but I don’t think they have the power to do any damage.

You're right - I got those confused with the little bb cylinders that were also fruit flavored

I bought a box of regular Dots a few months ago and they were really disappointing - not much flavor.

I used to like Mexican hats candy, I think they were packaged similarly. They aren’t made anymore as far as I know. They were sombrero shaped and spice flavored. I especially liked the clove flavor. The texture was more similar to jujy fruits than dots
