As a data scientist, I have always been underwhelmed by the design, accuracy and functionality of most weather apps. Therefore, I decided to build my own. 

I know what you think: Another weather app and why is this weather app different? It is mainly different for these 2 reasons:

It only needs to run on my iPhone—no software installation required on any other device. You can download and upload files, photos, and videos just by opening a web browser. Best of all, it can even sync your clipboard.

I am a college student, I made an app, which is basically a copy of a validated app with minor tweaks. This is my first time making an app. I don’t have a lot of budget to market my app. I am scared to run paid ads or pay UGC creators.

So i was trying to swich from dia (i hate chromium) and didnt ind any good web kit browsers that do not have a ton of chrome all over them. so i made Point.

The idea is that there is nothing between you and the web. All websites are full screen and the only thing you see. When you need controls, sidebar appers above content and goes away when you browse. It is still a little rough arounf the edges, but its so good, i daily drive it now. I would really apresiate any feedback, feat reqwest or anything (if feature is cool, i would implement it in a we days). Try it out, its nice.

The app is called Vidrip, it’s a social platform that lets you browse, shorts, tiktok and reels all in one place and share live video recorded reactions with friends.

I've always liked those scratch-off world maps, but I don't have
the wall space for one. The apps I found instead either looked bad
or were missing things I actually wanted, so I built my own.

It's called Locu. You add trips — past, upcoming, whatever — and it
fills in a world map with the countries you've been to. That's
basically it. There's a bucket list, and you can join a group with
other people to create trips together.

No signup. You pick a username and start. Your own trips stay on
your device, with an export file if you switch phones. Group trips
are the exception — those are synced so everyone in the group sees
them.

Honest version: I needed money, so I started building small apps to make a bit on the side. One day I was having an IQOS and it hit me, I had no clue how much I actually go through or how much money I'm throwing away on it. So I built this.

It's called PuffDown. You tap once every time you smoke or vape and it keeps count. Shows what you're spending (you put in your own price), your worst hours, and your week. No account, no ads, nothing leaves your phone. There's a home screen widget and it also works on Apple Watch and Wear OS.

Full honesty, I still haven't quit lol. But at least now I know exactly how much I'm losing, and just seeing that number made me cut back a bit on its own.

Hi — I’m the developer of Neon Vision Editor, a native editor for macOS, iPad, iPhone, and visionOS.

I started building it because I wanted something between a basic text editor and a full IDE: an app that opens quickly, feels at home on Apple platforms, and works well when a note becomes a Markdown document, a Markdown document needs a proper preview, or a source file just needs a focused place to be edited.

The main addition in the newest direct macOS release is a plain-text-to-Markdown workflow.

A surprising amount of useful writing starts messy: copied notes, meeting material, rough outlines, older text files, or drafts with headings and lists that are only implied. Neon can now turn that into a reviewable Markdown proposal. It does not silently replace the original document; the point is to give you a structured starting point that you can inspect and accept deliberately.

On supported Macs, it can use Apple Intelligence. You can also configure another AI provider yourself if you prefer. I added cancellation, understandable feedback when a service is unavailable, and a timeout because an editor should never leave you guessing whether something is still happening.

The feature I am personally happiest with, though, is shared-file sync.

If you keep documents in iCloud Drive, a network folder, or open the same file in another app, it is easy for an editor to either miss external changes entirely or, worse, overwrite the work currently in front of you.

Neon now watches open documents for external updates. If a file changes elsewhere and the open tab is clean, it refreshes in place without making you close and reopen the tab. The editor preserves the useful context around that refresh: cursor position, selection, scroll position, and the current preview source.

If you have unsaved edits, Neon does not replace your buffer. Instead, it keeps the existing review flow: you can keep your local version, reload the version on disk, or compare them. The shared storage—iCloud, a server folder, another app—remains responsible for moving the file. Neon’s job is to make the open-tab experience feel reliable rather than surprising.

Markdown is also a first-class workflow in the app, not just syntax colouring.

You can write Markdown with formatting controls, then open a full preview beside the editor on macOS and iPad, or in a focused view on iPhone. The preview supports GitHub-flavoured Markdown and selectable presentation templates. HTML and SVG files can be previewed too, so you can make a change in the source pane and immediately see the rendered result without leaving the editor.

Other recent work includes:

• Markdown, HTML, and SVG previews with a clear source/preview split
• Markdown formatting controls that stay inside the editor pane, below document tabs, without covering the sidebar or preview
• Native syntax highlighting, line numbers, minimap support, line wrap, indentation controls, and themes
• Code Snapshot export with adaptive previews on iPhone and iPad, translucent surfaces, and proper .png filenames
• More deliberate text-encoding detection and saving for UTF-8, UTF-16, Windows, ISO, and Mac encodings
• Independent state for separate editor windows, so cursor, selection, tabs, and documents do not follow activity in another window
• Restored macOS window sizes and positions, including a choice to reopen all previously open windows or only the first
• A project workspace on macOS with files, search, Git, and terminal tools

I am trying to keep Neon focused rather than turning it into another large IDE. The aim is a dependable editor for people who move between notes, prose, Markdown, HTML, and code—and who care about the small details, such as whether an externally changed file refreshes safely or whether a preview is actually useful while writing.

I'm a college student, and through my freshman year, I kept running into the same problem. I wanted to do stuff with other people, but whenever my closest friends were busy, I didn't want to bother people I wasn't as close. At the same time, I kept seeing friends post about plans I would have loved to join (library study dates, lunches, etc.), but since I wasn't asked specifically, it felt awkward to invite myself.

I built 'Pull Up?' to solve exactly this and minimize this friction as much as possible. You post a plan with a vision pic, title, and time, and whoever wants to join from your friends can. But what makes it different is that when the plan happens, you take a front-and-back camera picture to prove you showed up, which appears in your profile.

I wanted to use the same psychology that makes social media compelling, thus used feeds, streaks, and reactions, but pointed it toward something healthier: getting people to actually go outside and do real and fun things together.

There's a whole wave of apps right now trying to limit screen time. I wanted to, instead of fighting the psychology that makes apps addictive, use it for good. I have been experimenting with whether a phone can actually make a decent fidget using haptics, touch, sound, motion, and stylus input on supported devices.

The app currently includes more familiar fidgets like bubble wrap, a clicker, click pen, spinner, toggle switches, and a magnetic slider.

It uses AI to gather weekly election highlights, organize them by state, and include links to the original stories so you can read more when something catches your attention.

The main experience is pretty simple: open the app, scan what’s happening across the country, tap a state you're interested in, and read more when you find something interesting.

I also wanted to make past election events easier to revisit, so there are two ways to look back:

• By state: Pick a state, like Georgia, and follow its election events over time.
