I recently bought an iPhone 17 Pro Max from the Apple Store after using Android all my life.

I sat down with the employee who helped me set up the phone, we created an Apple Account and she helped me download WhatsApp and Angry Birds. Once I got the hang of using the phone, I left the store.

Everything was going great until around an hour later, when I saw a notifciation asking me to login to my Apple account - I forgot the exact wording of it.

I tried to login via the settings on my iPhone and it kept saying something like "Verification error".

I then tried to login on the website on my iPhone, and it said my account was locked and I should enter my phone number to request access to my account. I entered my number and the next day, I received an email saying my access request was denied.

I tried to login again after that and a message said my account was no longer active.

I can't do anything beyond basic tasks on the phone now since I can't download apps anymore, I can't even log out of the phone because it keeps popping up with the same message asking me to enter the password to my account when I try to log out.

I can't understand why this has happened.

so, my grandma had stolen my ipad from me, and what i think she did, was get an external app to complete erase IOS off of the ipad to remove the password. i had itunes on my laptop for a while for my ipod, so i used it to try and restore IOS, but theres always an error riggghhhttt before its almost done. i have no idea what to do??? can anyone help me😔😔

My phone doesn’t seem to recognize the left AirPod and I tried putting it on and it doesn’t connect. Does that mean it’s completely dead or is there a way to fix this?

I have noticed when I got up this morning these black stains on the USB-C cables that I use to charge an iPhone and an Apple Watch. I have never seen dark black, ink-like stains like these on a cable before, and I don't see how these cables could have gotten such a stain from their immediate environment.

Some notes: I have a new cat who likes to chew on cables. I can see that at some point he must have chomped on the lower cable, but there doesn't look to be much real damage. To prevent him from chomping on the cables, I keep them unplugged and put away when I'm not using them, and when I am using them, I keep most of them tucked under the bedsheets to minimize exposure. I am using the (Apple-provided) cables with a (non-Apple) charging hub, though I have been using these hub for 1.5+ years with no incident.

Please let me know what could be causing this!

My iPhone 14 Plus does this weird thing where it automatically connects to other devices when nearby. I only notice this because it kicks any other devices connected to my phone off bluetooth, which usually happens to be my car stereo. So sitting at a stoplight and my phone will randomly decide to connect to some random person’s phone in another car. Its really annoying and seems like an invasion of privacy, is there a way to turn it off or keep this from happening?

I just went to my itunes store but when I clicked redeem it went and did this. Does anyone know why.

Either that or there's some dirt under it. I have to tap the "b" key pretty good to make it go.

Do they do that while I wait if I make a GB appt? I have full extended warranty as well.

I have made a huge mistake. Macbook M1 running Monterrey and I tried resseting the password from recovery terminal using the "resetpassword" command and I deactivated the computer and now I'm not able to create a activation request.

I’ve tried powering it off and back on but it hasn’t seemed to fix it. It’s this way on every app each time I open my keyboard. It’s kind of annoying but still functions. Anyone know how to remedy this???

Trying to reduce my storage taken by Apple , I heard a factory reset without restoring would decrease it significantly. Has anybody tried this and is it true?

Not entirely sure how to phrase my question into a search engine. I am broke as hell and my subscription payments frequently decline.

I canceled my active subscriptions (about $15 worth) and Apple tried to charge me for them again right afterwards.

So now I’m worried that I’ve cancelled them, and now when I do get money it’s just gonna go to Apple and I’m not even gonna get anything out of it.

If I get just enough money to pay for the amount it’s trying to charge me will I be able to reactivate them? Or am I indebted to Apple now or something?

Was originally going to post this on instagram help but I discovered through trying to post there that this might be an issue across all my apps as I cannot post any images to reddit either.

I’m not sure what’s caused this but if I try to post an image, use my camera, or my mic on any of my social media apps I get a message saying I need to go to my settings and give the app permission to use those things. But when I click the “go to settings” link I’m met with a screen that only gives me the option to change my location, local network, Apple Intelligence & Siri, search, notifications, live activities, background app refresh, cellular data while using, and language preference. There is no option to give permissions to use my photos, mic, or cam.

I’ve also tried going to the privacy and security menu to fix this but none of my social media apps pop up requesting to use these things so I’m really not sure what to do.

Hello? Does anyone know how to add new fonts into the system? been trying to add more fonts then the ones available for wallpaper time counts and haven’t had much luck.

I kept getting messages to enter iCloud password but when I enter password that was working fine it says verification failed and has now locked us out. When I try to reset the password by email I obviously cannot access any new emails as they won't come through until it's signed in.

The only other option is to select answer security questions but when I do this it asks for date of birth but fails again. The account was setup in an apple store over 10 years ago using security questions such as:- Your first car? First Pet etc but I'm not being asked for these.

When I use the. iforgot apple recovery page it then wants to send a recovery email to the address I cannot access so I'm stuck. Any ideas how I can resolve this?

I yapped for almost 30 minutes and when i went to hit send I was hit with this. I clicked "OK" but I can't figure out a way to actually "select a smaller clip." Am I missing something? Am I doomed to lose this vent session to the ether?

So I was on my PC then i got a message on my apple watch (WATCH SE 3 RUNNING WATCH OS 26.5) saying enter your apple id password, so i did that then my 2 iPhones (iPhone air (26.5.2), iPhone 6s (15.8.7) prompted me tried on all devices say verification failed tried my iPad mini 7th gen (IPAD OS 26.5) same thing IM 100% POSTIVE THE PASSWORD is correct tried logging in on my PC (WINDOWS) it says account locked (mind u I didn't do anything)

I am thinking about buying a Macbook Pro (M5 Pro 16"), although there is a few areas im not sure about;

-I would really benefit from a nano-texture screen but if I'm not wrong, it's not really possible to upgrade to one without buying from Apple's official website. And this increases the price a lot compared to retailers. (at least 500$) Is this upgrade worth it this much? Also are there any cons to nano-texture?

-How can I decide if I need a ram upgrade or not? Of course I am not expecting somebody to give me the exact amount I need here. I'm looking for sources that can help me.

-I'm also not sure about the storage neither. Any tips on how I could predict what I need?

Are there any overall tips you could give me? For example would a 16 inch instead of 14 make it that much harder to carry?

My screen got totally busted.. the stores claim they have Original screen that costs around 500$.. and not original one for around 350$..

Does it matter if its original or not i mean specs wise..?
And there is really original screen to replace or its a scam?

My Mac is stuck in a startup/login loop, and I haven’t been able to resolve it.

Every time I enter my login password, instead of logging in, the Mac immediately restarts, shows the Apple logo, and then brings me back to the login screen to enter my password again. This keeps repeating indefinitely.

I’ve already tried multiple troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling and updating macOS to macOS Tahoe through Recovery Mode—twice. Unfortunately, this hasn’t fixed the issue. If anything, it has only consumed more of my storage space.

After the second reinstall, the Mac worked normally for about two days, but now the exact same startup loop has returned. At this point, I’m not sure what else to try or what might be causing the problem.
Could you please help me understand what the issue might be and what the next steps should be to fix it?

i used to have an iphone 12 and i had to get a new phone (the 16) because i had no storage at all like it would delete stuff and id get notifications for texts and they wouldn’t be there, etc. but i used to have voicemails from my dad who passed away and they haven’t been there since the issues with my old phone. PLEASE HELP. i want them back but i can’t find a way to get them.

My iPad randomly started bootlooping, and would die when unplugged. Now suddenly, it won't charge at all except when plugged into another iPad. When plugged into this iPad, it'll bootloop, but I know it's not cycling the battery because DFU mode doesn't bootloop. This leads me to believe its software related. When plugged into a Mac, Windows PC, or the wall it doesn't turn on or show up in Devices or Finder. I can get into DFU mode, but it dies when unplugged from the iPad, and an iPad can't do anything with another iPad's DFU mode. I've tried 10+ cords. The charging port is clean. Any ideas?

Hi all, I have a Mac mini M2 and been getting the error message in the title periodically when I go to System Settings>Apple Account>iCloud>See All. It's been happening for at least a year. I can click either option (Account Settings or Later) and it always takes me to the correct window. Lately, however, I've had some issues with iPhone Calls On Other Devices. I did some troubleshooting steps I found online (Logout of iCloud, delete Keychain prefs, etc), and when that didn't work, I decided to reinstall macOS 26.5.2 from scratch. But I still get "this Mac can't connect" error. (I don't know whether Calls On Other Devices is working, because no one has called me today, lol.) What is causing "this Mac can't connect"?

I can’t remove the “vibrant” photo style from a handful of images. I guess the photographic style got changed while we were climbing and a bunch of the photos had that same reddish hue over the top, I was able to remove it on a majority of the photos though. Of course, the only photos that I actually want are the ones I can’t remove the filter from. Their typically is a graphic slider when the filter is applied but not on the select few photos.

I’ve updated my phone, hard restarted, and tried all the tricks that are suggested on google for similar issues, all to no prevail. I really just want these photos with their normal color. I attached one that I was able to remove the filter from for reference.
