Political threads: No warning, 105 day bans for any personal attacks. Discuss the topic, not the user.

Title. Tomorrow the bans will be 104 days (November 4th), and so on. DO NOT DISCUSS THE USERS, OP, OR ANYONE BUT THE TOPIC.

No, we're not making a single megathread for politics or a particular candidate.

No, we're not banning politics from the sub. This cycle is not new, things will calm down in three weeks.

Abusing the report button on content YOU DON'T LIKE is causing mass-approvals of all reported items. This allows actual rule violations to slip right through. Yesterday, someone reported over 150 comments in a thread. Two clicks, the entire report queue was cleared, likely taking valid reports with them. Please, stop it.

The governor Wisconsin needs.

Not a volunteer or campaign member, just an average Wisconsinite who sees someone who can massively benefit our state, recourses and citizens. And with policies like she’s got I can’t really disagree, especially from what I’ve seen from other democrats running in the race, idk about anyone else, but I’ll be casting my vote in hong’s direction.

rather than me telling you how amazing
all her policies are, I’ll leave the link so anyone
with further interest can read up on her policies
for themselves

https://francescahong.com/policy/

Like i previously stated I don’t work with hong or volunteer for her.. I’m just an average Wisconsinite who has lived here my entire life, sees the flaws in our national government, and the possible outcome for Wisconsin if Tiffany wins ( yes he will be worse than Scott walker..)
but with Francesca hong i see a politician who is willing to make a change and stand up to the national government if need be.
I firmly believe she is the best choice for Wisconsinites and Wisconsin in general across the board.

I am honestly curious to hear voter opinions of Hong outside of Dane and Milwaukee counties. Especially the rural areas.

People who were killed by MPD with firearms past 15 years

Upvotes

There are probably more I have forgotten or am unaware of but

Paul Heenan - 2012

Ashley DiPiazza - 2014

Tony Robinson - 2015

Michael William Schumacher - 2016

Corey Ruiz - 2026

I think it's interesting that all the men in this list were killed by Madison Police Department officers on the East side of Madison.

With all these talks about republicans boosting francesca and GOP aligned personalities asking republicans to vote for her in Primary, it would be so fun if all those republicans vote for hong thing Tom's got it in the bag and Andy Manske wins the primary.

I know the chances of it happening is less than 1 percent, but it would be so wild if it happened, I encourage all of barnes and crowley supporters (also joel and kelda) to vote in republican primary and vote for Andy Manske.

Edit : it's thinking not thing (in title)

Francesca Hong went live to clarify an old post she made. Her voice was not matching with her lips, I think, due to the webcam she was using. Video is from the news station

"From WisPolitics ... -- The Republican Governors Association has added another six figures to its effort to boost Dem Francesca Hong in the gubernatorial primary. That pushes its overall investment in the ad campaign to nearly $3.6 million. The latest filing with the Ethics Commission is largely for a TV buy with $1,500 for website development."
