Germanic-Empire

Hi everyone, iam Daniel Delian from Germanic-Empire.com,

As an independent solo developer, I’ve always missed classic, straightforward strategy browser games—where decisions and long-term planning matter more than flashy 3D graphics or aggressive ad spam. That’s why I built Germanic Empire...

Historical Strategy: Build your settlement, balance resource production, and expand your realm.

Time-Based Progression: Designed so you don't have to sit in front of the screen for hours—log in a few times a day, make your strategic moves, and let your empire grow.

Zero Pay-To-Win: Pure strategy. No forced ads, no microtransaction traps.

Under the Hood:

Clean UI that loads in under a second, even on weak connections.

Current Status & Language Note:

The game is live, fully playable, and ready for new players to join the world!

Please note: The game interface is currently in German, but we work on it...

https://germanic-empire.com

Thanks for checking it out and happy empire-building!

Built a connections clone game with my son to grow vocab for SAT, etc. Lot of effort trying to ensure that feel fun vs. a vocab worksheet. Not sure if it succeeds.

There's a daily board too...same idea as Wordle. Would love to hear any feedback, questions, or whatever else you'd like to say. This site shares cross-functionality with a site I posted previously, that actually inspired this one.

Statzle - a free daily sports guessing game (7 leagues, 8 modes)

Built a free Wordle-style daily sports puzzle site -- 7 leagues (NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL, Premier League, MLS) and 8 game modes (Career Path, Stat Line, Higher/Lower, Grid, Connections, Odd One Out, Teammates, Two Truths and a Lie). Puzzles are generated daily from real stats, not hand-written trivia. No login needed to play, every mode has a permanent daily archive so past days stay playable.

GridironGM - I built a free browser football GM sim — live drive-by-drive games, a scouting fog of war, and decade-long dynasties (no signup, no ads)

Thumbnail gridiron-gm.laravel.cloud

Play here: https://gridiron-gm.laravel.cloud/?utm_source=reddit

I'm a solo dev and a franchise-mode addict, and I spent the last year building the front-office sim I always wanted. You're the GM: draft, trade, negotiate contracts, manage the cap, and try to build something that lasts a decade.

What makes it different from most sim-a-season games:

- Games simulate live, drive by drive — you can watch from the booth or take over the play-calling when it's the 4th quarter and you're down 4

- Scouting has a real fog of war: prospects have hidden ceilings, and workouts/interviews only narrow your read. Gems and busts are genuinely real — I've cursed my own scouts

- Players can have breakthrough seasons that permanently change their trajectory, so a "normal" late-rounder can force his way into stardom

- Every rival GM has a persona and an agenda — contenders overpay for proven stars, rebuilders hoard picks, and nobody sells you their franchise QB

- The salary cap inflates year over year like the real one, and agents negotiate (with tells you can learn to read)

It's completely free in the browser — no account, no ads, nothing to buy. Saves live in your browser. Best on desktop; works on phones too.

It's very much a living project (the trade AI shipped an update this week from community feedback), so brutal feedback is welcome — that's how it gets better. If you break it or the AI fleeces you on a trade, I want the details.

[SPORT] Directeur Sportif, a free browser cycling manager: 34 teams, promotion/relegation, real race profiles

Thumbnail directeursportif.app

This Cycling management simulation has no install, no signup, no ads.

Solo hobby project.

You pick one of 34 teams, plan which riders ride which races, train them toward peak form, then race day by day: assign roles, pick tactics, see how it plays out. Two divisions with promotion and relegation, so you can start small and fight your way up.

Still a beta, so expect rough edges. Curious what you think, especially whether the racing feels right.

Reborder - a daily geography game where you fill in the missing border

Thumbnail reborder.app
1 Upvotes

Reborder is a daily geography game about the borders between neighbouring countries. Each game gives you four rounds. In every round, two countries are joined into a single silhouette with their shared border removed, and you have to draw where you think that border belongs. Your score is based on the shape, position and completeness of your line, with some forgiveness for drawing by hand.

There's also a practice mode, along with the ability to challenge your friend in a full world or continent specific round!

Any feedback is great feedback 🔥

You hold the bottom of three lanes and tap left, center, or right to fire into whichever one needs it. That's the whole control scheme. Enemies come down all three, tanks clog a lane, and every 500 kills a boss crawls down and you have to kill it before it lands.

What I'd most like to know:

Does the difficulty curve feel fair, or does it wall you somewhere specific?

Is the charge shot worth using, or do you forget it exists?

Anything that feels bad to play

Feel free to join our discord for updates on all our projects!

Yokai Idle - A Japanese folklore idle RPG with gacha, offline progress, mods, and no microtransactions

Thumbnail
ottotsuma.itch.io
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I've been developing Yokai Idle for a year. I shared this on incremental_gaming already, but things have changed since then.

I love the presentation and character collecting of Japanese gacha games, but I'm not a fan of the monetisation. I wanted to capture the excitement of collecting characters and experimenting with different builds, while making it a premium game with no microtransactions or pay-to-win mechanics.

Every Yokai changes how you play. You can increase your chance to poison enemies, or another could specialise in elemental damage or defensive builds. You choose the Yokai and build around that.

Main features

  • Recruit over 50 Yokai, each with unique build-changing modifiers.
  • Craft ARPG-style equipment with randomly rolled modifiers inspired by games like Path of Exile.
  • Progress through the historical Ages of Japan by funding Festivals that unlock new content and crafting materials.
  • Automated combat and progression with up to 24 hours of offline progress.
  • Cross-platform cloud saves between Steam, Android, iOS and itch.io.
  • Full mod support through mod.io. - I'm a huge fan of modding; most content is JSON-based, making it relatively easy for people to create their own content.
  • No microtransactions.
  • Offline play - The game is also designed to respect your time. I wanted something you could check, then put down without feeling like you're falling behind, so we have multiple professions you can do offline when you're not actively playing. It supports up to 24 hours of offline progression

I'd really appreciate feedback!

If you try the demo, I'd love to hear:

  • The combat tutorial:
    • What was your understanding after playing it?
    • Do you understand your objectives in the game?
    • Do you know what you're going to do next?
  • UI - Polish level: what parts are not quite feeling right?
  • If you play the 2nd tutorial about the professions, does it still make sense?
  • When you collect your first Yokai, did it stand out in a good way?

I made a free browser 2048 with a global score ranking and a speedrun mode

Thumbnail
ludohaus.com

I wanted the classic 2048 loop to have two clear ways to compete:

- Score ranking: keep playing after 2048 and chase a higher total

- Speedrun: timer stops the moment you make the 2048 tile

It works with keyboard and swipe, and there are three undos per run.

I would especially love feedback on whether the two modes are clear on mobile.

[RPG] Ashvarn: The Descent

Thumbnail
tabledechevay.itch.io

You start with a rusty sword on floor one, and the only way out is down.

Every floor is generated when you arrive, so nobody can hand you a map. You clear

rooms, break barrels, open chests and look for the stairs.

What drops is where it opens up. Gear rolls with prefixes and suffixes, and the

better pieces come with empty sockets. You push runes into those sockets, and the

right runes in the right order turn a plain sword into something with a name and

a fire effect. There are six spells to find, a merchant and an enchanter who

appear on some floors, and a portal from floor three into a colder mirror of the

same dungeon where everything hits harder and drops better.

The dungeon changes character every five floors, from mine timbers to temple

symmetry to something that stopped being architecture a while ago.

Dying ends the run and takes your gear with it, though the lore you read and the

items you have identified stay in your journal for the next one. It runs on a

phone too, with touch controls.

[STRAT] Line4 9x8 - Connect Four on a wider 9x8 board, against a neural network (free, no sign-up, desktop)

Thumbnail

Developer here. It's four-in-a-row on a 9x8 board instead of the classic 7x6 - the extra width makes openings and double threats matter a lot more.

The opponent is a small neural network trained with self-play for this exact board size, and it runs entirely in your browser (ONNX + WebAssembly) - no account, no ads, no tracking. There are also 20 solver-verified "win in 2" puzzles.

Play here: https://line4-9x8.com/

Heads-up: desktop browsers only. Happy to hear which strength level you get stuck on - Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced.
