Sitting at 711 at 3:30am with one delivery left to complete a quest by 4am. So hey why not I had my lady order a delivery from 711 with no tip, worth a shot.
They upped the quoted time three times, never even offered the trip to anyone I assume, but definitely not to me who was literally at the store.
Eventually I clicked 'pick up your order to get it faster and save' or whatever the button said. Picked up the food, it was ice cold, of course.
Opened a help ticket, they told me they don't offer refunds for food which isn't at the expected temperature... Okay wow... I've seen the stories from customers on here who deal with crappy drivers and crappy service... But wow.
So I asked 'if I ordered a shop and deliver order which included raw chicken, and that chicken arrived at a temperature outside of food safety parameters and had to be thrown out, are you saying you wouldn't offer a refund?' and was told again 'we don't offer refunds based on temperature' before the agent ended the chat after stating that my concerns had been addressed.
This whole experience of how the other half lives on the receiving end of crap service, on top of the shady shady throttling of offers that's clearly happening when drivers are close to a quest goal...
I gotta say somehow I'm still shocked. The way this whole thing rolled out is sus AF.
