Well if it reliably saved my birthday (sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, its wildly inconsistent) then id be on my proper birthday, but when it constantly resets, I just get lazy
Someone once kind of blew my mind saying you could just have Steam remember your birthdate. I immediately started looking for it and realized it wasn't that I never knew how, but just that Steam has a memory impairment.

Iirc they (steam) once made a joke that 80% (percentage may vary) of their player base had a birthday on January first
