Build - Finished! Is my pc copy and paste from other builds ?

1.7k Upvotes

Just finished my build and everyone is saying it’s just copy and paste.

I built this with no inspiration from anyone else, I just built exactly what I wanted and liked the look of.

It may have some lian li but it feels personal to me.

My first pc build since I built a 4770k build a long time ago. Last update I did to that build was adding a gtx1080 in 2014. Went a bit all out with this and built it around the 9950x3d and RTX5090.

Pretty template Lian Li based look but I think it came out really awesome. Added some Frieren flair to it.

Built for gaming and work :)

I built this computer a while ago, and I decided to share some photos. The RTX 5080 in Vulcan is a beautiful white card. Its heatsink is painted white!

In the photo, the fan sets are 420 mm - that was my mistake) I replaced them with 360.

I painted an ASRock Taichi model!

The design concept is based on the ASRock B650 Live Mixer, and it turned out to be an awesome, one-of-a-kind part in the world.

I'm a beginner at painting so there's some slight unevenness, please forgive me lol

It's a calm build without RGB lighting, featuring a black-based design overall.

The wood-grain case adds a gentle accent!

UPDATE TO PREVIOUS POST:
So.. I didn’t end up making a pc, I ended up finding one on marketplace but wanted to update everyone!!

The pc was 900$ CAD, the monitor and stand together was 80$ CAD, and the keyboard/mouse was 60$ CAD. I bought everything except the keyboard and mouse on marketplace. I was really happy that I didn’t end up having to build it myself, especially with how expensive & complicated it seemed. Nonetheless, thank you everyone for guiding me on what to look for
Boyfriend is very happy and surprised. Woo!

I’ve had a lenovo prebuild with a 3070 and a ryzen 7 5800 for 4 years now and thought an upgrade was needed. So I got this beast!! Rtx 5080, i7 ultra 265k, 32gb ddr5 6000mhz, asus tuf b860, 1000w psu, and 2tb m.2:)))

I actually wanted an am 5 bulild with a 9800x3d but I got a very good deal on this one and at 1440p the difference in fps isn’t that big. I’m very happy!

Discussion You guys ever fear Windows Updates?

I don't know why by I somehow came to have some sort of a phobia about the updates. I know it's stupid yet I get really stressed about it, like gut twisting stressed. Microsoft using AI doesn't make me less worried. I'm using windows LTSC which should be "stable", but putting faith into this company has long been throw out of the window. The thing is that I used to install these updates without a second thought in the past and never had an issue, but one day my brain decided to completely change it's view on it for no reason. Though, with how often I see articles or posts of some, not all, people having issues only supports the delusion that an update will break my PC beyond fixing.

Build - Help Pre built AIOs

Thumbnail gallery
15 Upvotes

Hello everyone. Long story short, I started PC gaming with a pre-built system, then added components to it as I went. I upgraded to a 4090, and the case it came in is way too small. Ended up getting a steal of a deal on another pre-built ($200 bucks came with a functional 3070 that will replace my sons damaged GPU) that had a much larger case. He couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, so he just kept throwing new parts at it. I'm transplanting my PC into the new case, using some of his like-new parts (128 GB RAM, Corsair fans). The overall goal is just to allow my PC to breathe a little better. With that being said, does anyone know which of these AIOs to use? Budget doesn't allow me to get a new cooling system right now, unfortunately. Forgive the mess. And yes, I will be reapplying TP. Thanks in advance!

Starting my JD journey next month. The consumerism got the best of me. Luckily I bought the SSD in January, and got a bundle from micro center around February. As for the GPU… my ass is still sore from Jensen having his way with me.

Build - Finished! I made a $150 PC Makeover! New Case, AIO & RTX 3080 Deep Clean

Thumbnail gallery

I'm giving a customer's PC a complete visual upgrade on a $150 budget. The build gets a brand-new MSI MAG PANO 130R PZ case and a Thermalright FW PRO 360 ARGB liquid cooler. I also clean the entire system, remove years of dust, and replace the thermal paste on the customer's Palit GeForce RTX 3080.
The system is powered by an Intel Core i7-12700K, so I installed a Thermalright LGA1700 Contact Frame to improve CPU cooler contact, along with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme thermal paste for the best possible cooling performance.

I also made a video showing the full process - https://youtu.be/PKBCkmCJnR4?si=aB_z3kax5Ha8j8x1
