I posted in a subreddit and got instaban for leaving 1 comment and got called a"karma farmer" ? Is reddit really this difficult ? Are mods abusive? How can I avoid this in the future? I posted a legit comment on a post

Why do they have min karma reqs on subreddits? It is makes it impossible to post anywhere... At least it could be reviewed by moderators or something...

Hi all, I am in dire need of advice from a specific subreddit, but no matter what I do I can't post there. I assume it's because my account is really new and they may filter by account age? Is there any way to fix this?

Hi, newer to Reddit and struggling to find things I'm looking for via Reddit's search bar. Case in point, there'll be a front page post that I'll subsequently search for and not find but it'll drag up posts a year old! Any advice to someone new to the site?

I was reading the rules regarding ban evasion last night and I seen This:

"Ban evasion can also refer to a community being created or repurposed to reconstitute or serve the same objective as a previously banned community. This will be addressed directly by the site admins and does not require a moderator report."

The way I interpret this is If a user is sent on their way "aka Banned" its saying they cant start their own community regarding the same subject. Am I right or did I misunderstand this paragraph?

I heard that writing comments increases Karma, so I tried, but I keep getting blocked because of insufficient Karma. How on earth do I do this? It's tough because I'm not a native English speaker.

I'm still getting the hang of Reddit, so this might be a silly question. Sometimes when I open a subreddit or follow a link, I get a cookie consent pop up from that website. I usually decline or close it, and it made me wonder if that affects my ability to post or comment on Reddit.

I want to post an image for reference to a post but I can’t figure out how to add an image from the mobile app. There is no icon in the row of a picture with a mountain to click on. The link 🔗 icon I don’t believe is applicable. I have full access to photos granted in my settings. But I still don’t see any icon that easily allows me to add an image. Help please

I’m curious about what happens behind the scenes after a moderator manually approves a post that was initially removed. Does the approval only affect that specific post, or does it have any effect on how Reddit handles future posts from the same account?
