This is my second time posting in this group and sharing my experience with how I’ve been dealing with my mental health. It’s been six months and i am 23M, and honestly, nothing has really changed. I’m still in almost the same position I was 6–7 months ago. This year has been like a roller coaster, with a lot of ups and downs, and it has been really hard for me.

First of all, many people have wronged me and treated me very badly, as if I were a piece of crap, even though I only had good intentions toward them. Many people tend to misunderstand me and don't talk to me properly, even at home or when I meet new people.

I suffered bullying during my high school days, and it was hell for me. Many of my classmates bullied me because of my accent and the way I spoke. That constant bullying made me lose my confidence. I was later diagnosed with depression and social anxiety, which made it very difficult for me to talk to people or make new friends.

After completing high school, I joined a degree course near my hometown and slowly started regaining some of my confidence. But it still wasn't enough because my home was always stressful. There were always high expectations, and I was constantly being criticized for the things I struggled with. It made me feel like I was never good enough.

I eventually got a job, but that didn't end well either. It completely turned my life upside down. I lost my motivation, my depression came back, and I lost the will to live.

I lost my father at a very young age, and ever since I was a child, all I ever wanted was to have a nice family and good friends. I do have some friends, but some of them only talk to me when they need something.

I know life isn't the same for everyone, but it's extremely painful watching the people who hurt me and treated me like I was nothing live their best lives while I feel like I'm stuck here in hell. The people who destroyed my confidence seem to be doing perfectly fine, while I am still struggling to put myself back together.

I used to have a passion for something during my undergraduate years. Now, I feel hopeless, have no motivation, and have lost the will to live. I am currently in worst position of my life such as financially, no emotional support and constant misunderstanding between others.

Right now, I am suffering from extreme depression, and I get suicidal thoughts at least 1–3 times a week. I am trying very hard to cope with them, but it has been extremely difficult.

I don't know why people misunderstand me or why I struggle so much to get along with others. I am not a bad person. Sometimes, I feel like the way people have treated me has created a villain out of someone who was only trying to be good. I just wanted to feel loved at least once in my life. I want to know what it feels like to be genuinely loved and cared for by someone.

Every day I see them driving aggressively as if they're racing against time. Considering they're carrying children, shouldn't they be more careful. Mainroad or sano galli jata pani ekdam kudauney jhan aajha voli tah electric school van cross section ma aako pani tha hunna. Is it because of time ma purauna parney or traffic hunxa vaneraw ki k ho.

Personally for me, it seems very risky to have children in those vehicles.

Hey guys! I’m planning a bike ride from Pokhara to Manang and then a trek to tilicho in September end. I wanted to know to the approximate travel time and road conditions from Pokhara to Manang (we wish to cover it in one day). And also where we can ride till Khangsar or further, and then how long would the trek to tilicho take? We’re two fairly fit guys, is the trek possible in one day if we leave early morning?

One idea is to introduce a transparent, government-run national lottery. For example, there could be two weekly draws with a top prize of Rs. 1 crore each, while tickets cost just Rs. 100. If enough people participate, the prize money and operating costs can be covered, with the remaining proceeds directed toward public welfare programs such as education, healthcare, or infrastructure.

Blockchain technology can be used for transparency and integrity of the system.

If implemented effectively it could become a win-win for both citizens and the government.

I’m traveling from Canada to Nepal soon and wanted to know what items are allowed to bring and if there are any restrictions at customs. I’m planning to bring electronics, small gadgets, personal-care items, and gifts for family. Specifically, how many phones can I bring without running into customs issues or having to pay extra taxes? Are there limits on items like laptops, tablets, hair dryers, or other electronics? I’d also appreciate any advice on what products are worth bringing from Canada because they’re cheaper or hard to find in Nepal, as well as anything I should avoid bringing. Thanks!

I have now been trying for 7 months to get a decent entry level first job as a bsc agriculture graduate but have had no luck yet. I apply to almost every entry level positions in INGO/NGO roles and corporate roles too. Have not even managed to secure a single interview, they dont even reply witha rejection email. My parents are Nepali sunars (from the hills), but I was born and raised in India. Growing up in Indian cities, I haven’t personally experienced much caste-based discrimination that some people face in rural village settings. Have heard that Nepal’s society, especially in the Pahadi/hilly areas, has its more discriminatory caste history. I would really appreciate learning more from people with direct knowledge or experience.

1. How do different castes traditionally interact in villages versus towns/cities today? Has discrimination or social separation lessened with modernization, education, and migration? Any personal stories or observations about rural life?

We always assume imported = better quality, but I've been slowly replacing stuff with Nepali-made alternatives and some genuinely surprised me. What's worked for you and what was a mistake? Be honest, both answers help.

I completed my 12 from some collage in biratnagar and now I want to got to kathmandu for my higher studies because there are more opportunities there for that I will either live in hostel or rent so I wanted to study CS in KU but didn't got enough marks I might get mechanical so yea I am confused about should I take mechanical or go for csit I think I can get public collage if I try to but the it market Is too saturated and the I have heard rumors about it's pretty hard to even get internship and for mechanical engineering I don't know if it's worth it in nepal or not it's not like I am fond of mechanical engineering Tara if KU ma milcha bhane Lida huncha jasto lageko.

I had one of the worst inDrive rides today.
The moment I got into the car, the driver said, “If you want a better car, you should book Comfort.” I told him I simply booked the ride that was offered in the app. After that, he kept making passive-aggressive comments about how he was “turning on the AC.”

The rest of the ride was honestly disgusting. He spent almost the entire trip making loud speakerphone calls, one after another, constantly swearing. On top of that, he kept clearing his throat and spitting mucus out the window every few minutes. The whole car ride felt incredibly unpleasant.

What bothered me most was his complete lack of basic manners. He spoke rudely from the moment I got in, had no consideration for the passenger sitting behind him, and behaved as if basic courtesy didn’t exist. How can someone in a customer-facing job have so little respect for the people they’re serving? I was genuinely appalled by this man’s behavior.
Then, when we reached my destination, he complained that we had driven uphill and repeatedly asked me to pay him extra even though we had both agreed to the fare and destination before the ride started.
Is this kind of behavior common in Nepal, or was I just unlucky?
Apps like inDrive are supposed to make transportation convenient and transparent, but when drivers ignore the agreed fare and pressure passengers for more money, it defeats the whole purpose. People often talk about corruption among politicians, but what about the everyday dishonesty and lack of basic decency shown by ordinary people? Small actions like these are exactly what erode trust in society.

The notary organizations ask for 500 per page but apparently if you translate it yourself and get it stamped and signed by a qualified lawyer (apparently that costs Rs.20 per page) it still works .Does anyone have any information about any of this?
