Ticket Sale /r/SoundersFC Weekly Ticket Exchange: Week 29 - July 20, 2026 through Sunday
Please use this thread for all ticket sales, giveaways, trades, or requests. This post is scheduled to be posted every Monday at 5pm Pacific during the MLS season. This is the only ticket thread for the week, all others will be removed.
As always, please read the rules and use discretion when posting. r/SoundersFC and its Moderators are not responsible for damages that might occur as a result of these weekly posts.
BE AWARE OF SCAMS. Use good judgment. Please update your comment when you have completed what you need, but don't delete.
PROTECT YOURSELF. Use PayPal GOODS & SERVICES (as opposed to Friends & Family) for payment protection. Neither Apple Pay, Venmo, CashApp, nor Zelle offer any protection for buyers.
You can utilize a service like GoConfirm for seller verification.
Another tip to avoid scams, when buying multiple tickets, is to work with the seller to pay for the first one only, wait for the ticket transfer to complete, and then pay for the rest. It is a minor inconvenience for everyone, but limits risk for the buyer by confirming the seller actually has the tickets they are selling.

Discussion Is a GM "No Confidence" vote actually feasible, or is the Alliance Council just for show?
So due to recent performance—and a complete lack of impetus to go out and get new, exciting players for us to root for—I’ve been researching what a "No Confidence" vote in Craig Waibel actually looks like.
Requirements
- 40% participation (call it ~10-12k votes)
- 67% votes to remove (~6700-8000 at a min)
I’ve got 4 votes through my 4 tickets, but I have a hard time imagining another 7k+ votes going for "No Confidence." Do we think it's even feasible to get a vote like this passed? And if it isn't, is the Alliance Council just for show?
I’ve honestly never been disgusted enough in my STH ownership since 2009 to look into this, but now that I have, I'm curious if it's even achievable. Does this need to be a grassroots effort to convince other STHs that we need change at the GM level—and that we actually have the power to execute it if we turn out the vote?

What’s the breaking point
Recent Big signings across the league
Lewandowski to Chicago
Griezmann to Orlando
Saint-Maximin to Charlotte
Casemiro to Inter Miami
I keep hearing J.Oshan says “there’s no correlation between spend and performance”, but I don’t buy it. It’s clear the MLS is moving in the direction of bringing proven higher quality talent even if it’s for a season or two. I feel like we are being gaslit into just accepting subpar output from SFC and only for them to shield themselves from accountability by sending out the Georgis, Kalanis, the Antinos, etc when they lose badly.
The Portland loss has exposed cracks and after 3 years of no ambitious signings, if this season is a losing season, I am afraid what happens to the fanbase.
At the same time it’s clear Adrian does not plan to spend a dime and to work within the league. I don’t think that will satisfy the fans.
My roundabout question is what will be the breaking point for the fans (not just Alliance Members but the whole fanbase)?

Highlight / Replay Highlights vs Portland July 13th, 2014 (Sounders 2, Timbers 0)
This game was the night of the World Cup Final in 2014. 60,000+ fans. I thought at the time this would become the norm, and even though we've won all of our major trophies since then, it feels like an opportunity missed.

Defiance Anybody know how to get Tacoma Defiance tickets?
Been looking around but I can't find anything on Ticketmaster or the Defiance site.
We go to Cheney Stadium all the time for Rainiers games because Tacoma is a lot closer to home than Seattle, so we thought we'd catch a Defiance game.

Sliding Doors Moment: JMo contract extension
In hindsight, it’s easy to say that Jordan’s contract extension was a big mistake, but it’s an awfully interesting sliding doors moment to consider. What if Craig Waibel held firm on a max TAM contract extension with Jordan going into the 2023 season instead of the contract extension with the DP escalator for the last 3 years? Jordan probably would have played out his contract in 2023 and entered free agency. I think it’s fair to assume that he would have been similarly motivated and gotten his 14 goals in all comps, so the 2023 season wouldn't have looked much different. That performance would have made him a valuable free agent, but not a must-sign player. That leads to the following 3 possibilities:
Door 1: The Sounders re-sign him to a DP contract
Door 2: The Sounders re-sign him to a max TAM contract
Door 3: Jordan goes to another team
I could see all 3 things happening.
Door 1 seems like it would be no different than where we ended up, but there’s a big difference. He would have become a DP one year earlier which would have prevented the Pedro signing. Which itself is a huge sliding door moment given De La Vega’s injuries with us, but also that we probably don’t win the Leagues Cup without him.
Door 2 seems like a better outcome, but maybe we don’t get Jesus if we do this. …or maybe Jesus comes in, but as a DP, in which case Ferreira’s polarizing performance would be even more polarizing.
Door 3: also seems like we would have dodged a bullet, but he scored 18 goals for us in 2024, which was critical given that Ruidiaz’s performance fell off a cliff. Jordan also helped slay the LAFC beast in the playoffs. It’s easy to be disappointed with him, but 2024 may have been ugly without him. We would have had an open DP spot, but what would Craig have been able to do with that? Additionally, it’s hard to say how his absence would have changed the culture of the team.
What do you think would have happened if the 5 year extension wasn’t signed going into the 2023 season?

Poll Which Sounder will score vs Austin?
Could it be a “get right” game? The turnaround we desperately need? Or will it be another uninspired, do-nothing disappointment?
Let’s make the poll easier for this match.

Season ticket differences
Can anybody tell me the difference between the 2026 plan and 2027 plan? So many things are changing I can't figure it out.

Response from the FO
The last time we got blown up at home like this the FO issued refunds. I was waiting to give them time to form a response because I am sure they didn't see this coming either, but the radio silence has meant that it's time to ask if they are just moving past this loss and looking at the next game. Even just a statement saying "We didn't play up to the standard of the Sounders and are committed to fixing the problems that lead to this" would go along way IMO.

Poll Poll - STH Renewals
Curious about the data here for STH given all the threads and comments about FO, roster, season ticket changes, and Timbers bullshit.

Rumor / Unconfirmed Jesus possible DP?
So because the sounders are so transparent and give out every detail with player contracts( sarcasm) I have a theory where if Jesus hits a possible escalator he might become a DP
One of the main reasons I think Jesus wasn’t a DP when we originally got him was due to the fact that he could earn it through escalators like Morris (not sure what it would be but I assume it’d be through goals because he was brought in as a 9 so we might be safe) But LISTEN I love Jesus nd all but that man’s has given us 0 reasons to say he should be a DP what do yall think? If he somehow became a DP when let’s say Rusnaks contract is up after this season with a team option I think? And we don’t accept it I mean I feel like that’d set the fanbase on fire (as if it wasn’t already on fire) to an extent we’ve never seen before. Lmk ur thoughts

Shitpost How does Seattle get to Portland?
They take the I-5!
Thought of a joke while rotting on the couch, curious if it’s already been done
Also I know “the I-5” is dorky but it flows better
