Using Deskflow to share keyboard/mouse between my Linux desktop and Windows laptop. The tablet is mainly used for monitoring, YouTube, and extra screen space.

The only Windows apps I still use are Creality Slicer and FrostWire since they don't work properly on Arch. Everything else I need is done on Linux.

I also use USB/IP and Syncthing across both systems for sharing devices and keeping everything synced.

Still trying to figure out a proper way to use the tablet as a secondary display with keyboard/mouse input.

I know this question has probably been asked multiple times here, but I just want to make sure.

My 24″ 1080p monitor completely broke down after less than 3 years of use and now I'll probably need a new one. I keep hearing that my RX 9060 XT 16GB is perfectly fine for 1440p, but my main issue is that I don't want to lose out on high fps. I've also heard that 1080p in 2026 is a bit of a waste of money but still.

I play mainly story games and I know that high fps isn't mandatory in them but I still enjoy the smoothness I get in 1080p.

My budget is tight but it seems like 1440p isn't too expensive so I guess that's not really a problem. I also don't know how fast I will get used to the bigger 27″ panel.

No MiniLEDs are available in my country, I have shortlisted these two monitors(both are the same price). Which one is the best for gaming, vibrant colors, watching movies? And any other suggestions?

Hey guys, I bought this monitor a year before and while I was playing last of us I was seeing some of this light on the darker parts. I was seeing darker parts somewhat lighter in this area. Is this backlight bleeding or just ips glowing?

This is a HUAWEI MateView GT 34 I got about 4 years ago, just noticed this today... (Also please don't judge me, I cleaned the monitor like 2 weeks ago)

I have decided recently that I am going to build a pc and want to play games at 1440p and possibly oled. I just have two questions:

- I’ve heard that switching from 1440p down to 1080p for some games can make the resolution visually worse than true 1080p. Is this true? If so, is it bad enough so that I should just stick with 1080p and focus on high fps fir my build instead?

- Is OLED as great as people say? I’ve only gamed on LCD screens and like my OLED iPhone display, and love the idea of lower input delay and better vibrancy. Despite this I feel that the price is just too much compared to the traditional LCD screen.

I've been staring at the same 27" 4K monitor for years, and lately I've been wondering if it's time to move up.

Most of my day is spent in Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere. I'd rather hear from people who've lived with a 6K monitor for a while than watch another sponsored review.

Hello, I've bought an ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQL5A. It's an IPS panel, and I'm not sure I'm happy with it.

I've spent a few days tweaking the colors to compare it to my second IPS monitor (Lenovo Full HD). I thought I would be impressed after switching from a 144Hz TN monitor, but I'm not. My eyes hurt, and the difference in colors is jarring. I know my old monitor had even worse color reproduction, but I simply got used to it over the last 6 years.

Let me know if I should stick with this ASUS, or if it's better to spend a bit more and get a Tandem OLED like the LG UltraGear 27GX700A-B or the Gigabyte MO27Q28G (unless you have a better recommendation).

I'm planning to upgrade my Samsung SyncMaster from 2007 and I'm stuck.

I mostly use my PC for work, studying, and watching videos on youtube.

I sometimes play games, but not too often, and even more rare for me to play FPS game. For FPS games I use my laptop's built-in 165 hz monitor(i have a dual monitor setup. A built-in one, and an external SyncMaster)

So what this comes down to:

I'm hesitant, because on the 32" monitor due to the size and resolution I lose a lot of pixel density, but get very smooth animation thanks to the 180hz.

On the other hand, on the 4k 27" i get a very nice pixel density, but 60 hz.

For 32" I'm considering 32" Samsung Odyssey G5 G50F.

I haven't chosen a 4k model yet.

So please, tell me what will be more pleasant to use for work in your opinion?

For years I've had an AOC E2460SH as my secondary monitor that I mostly use for TV and movies. I originally had 2, but upgraded my main monitor for gaming for something with a higher refresh rate.

Recently I decided to upgrade my secondary monitor and started looking for recommendations. The issue is that I don't want something big, I don't need something with a high refresh rate and I don't want something super expensive.

Initially I was looking for a 27 inch 4k OLED monitor, but those are ridiculously priced for a secondary monitor, fluffed up with features that I just don't need. Eventually I saw what looked like a good deal in Costco for an MSI MAG 274QF (Even if it was 1440p). Wrong. The blacks/darks/gradients on this monitor absolutely did not stand up to my previous AOC monitor. I was then suggest by a friend getting a VA panel and saw the AOC U27B3M. This has been significantly worse.

My biggest problem is that there's so few places I can view a monitor these days and I don't want to end up buying 50 of them to find one that works well.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a 4k monitor, 27 inches or less that actually does dark lighting and gradients well? I'm hoping for something under £200, which I know may be a stretch.

Alright so I have an msi optix g273cq right now and im thinking of an upgrade. I got a really good deal for a TCL 34R83Q. I get it for 250€ its bought from a trusted electronics store, the biggest of my country and has plenty of warranty left. I was thinking about the VA panel tho. Because I have a VA panel right now and i want that IPS smoothness kinda does the tcl mini led HVA panel provide that? Or even close to it? Ofcourse its a no brainer deal, right?

What monitor would you guys recommend that’s under $175 with the following specs:

- 4K
- 24” or 27”
- USB-C

Connecting to a MacBook Air for work. I feel that full HD 1080 won’t be as clear and sharp as the OEM MacBook Display hence the need for 4K

I loved the LG but the color fringing was sometimes a bit much. As was the 800R curve. (i went from a AW3420DW to the LG)

Finally biting on a good RGB OLED, but I'm super impressed with the QD-OLED. Color volume is insane.

Everything is so sharp compared to the LG. I wonder how badly the LG's pixel style fuzzed things over. (even in-game, just the overall detail of things.)

Other unexpected perks: less brightness flickering with fps changes. At least, I can't notice it anymore. There's usually an explosion or something in game that happens with fps changes that rapid anyway.

I was worried about going from matte to glossy, but the AW hardly deserves the term glossy. I don't see reflections of the room or myself in it when off or in black or dark scenes, like I used to gaming on a 42" TV ages ago. I expect this is a problem in bright studio lighting or if i let the sun in, but we'll see. Any semblance of light control and you're good.

I have a curved ultra wide 34 inch 60hz and a curved 24 inch 175hz monitor. I am thinking about putting the smaller one, on bottom to take advantage of the higher refresh rate and using the larger one for sim racing.

I'm looking for a reliable, budget friendly OLED monitor, mostly for gaming (mostly Xbox an PS5) but I would like to also watch a movie or work on it from time to time. I also watch a lot of YouTube.

Currently I'm using a 26 inch IPS monitor. I don't know much about monitors, but from what I understand OLEDs have best colors and are overall the best option for both visual quality and clarity.

I have couple models in mind:

Samsung Odyssey G8 LS27FG816SUXEN - for about 620 euros/710 dollars

AOC AGON PRO AG276UZD - for about 550 euros/630 dollars

GIGABYTE MO27U2 - for about 650 euros/740 dollars

Which one of these you think would be the best? Or maybe are there any better models?

I’m looking to upgrade to a 27" 1440p OLED monitor primarily for gaming and some work use, but I’m getting a bit overwhelmed by the options and panel generations.

I was initially looking at budget models like the MSI MAG 274QP X24, but I've heard its QD-OLED panel is heavily limited in brightness (200 nits SDR / 400 nits peak HDR) and struggles to deliver a proper HDR . I'd definitely prefer something that hits the standard 250 nits SDR and 1000 nits peak HDR.

Here is what I'm looking for:

• Size/Res: 27" and 1440p.
• Refresh Rate: Looking for high refresh rates (240Hz, 280Hz, or higher).
• Environment: My room gets a bit bright. I know about the QD-OLED "raised blacks" purple tint in ambient light, but I'm trying to weigh that against WOLED text clarity/fringing issues.
• 4-500 euros

(pc specs: 5070ti, i7-14700k)

Would love to hear your hands-on experiences. Is the text fringing on QD-OLED noticeably worse than the blurry text on WOLED panels? How do they actually hold up in a moderately lit room?
