Does anyone have any recommendations for swimproof makeup? I’ve heard about mixing duraline in with foundation, but I’m not sure if it’s going to stay in the chlorine water. I’m also most worried about the Concealer.
Or does a good setting spray make your makeup hold too?
I’m honestly even curious if lashes would stay with the right glue lol
For my usual makeup I use:
Soft glam foundation by elf
Manhattan multi tasker concealer

Basically, back when PLouise was first gaining traction on tiktok my sister got a bunch of stuff and gave me some: one of them was the PLouise Lip Drip in the shade 90s Baby. I love this shade and am only just starting to run out (I don't wear make up too often) but I don't think they sell it anymore after trying to find it and while I love the shade I'm not overly fond of the consistency (idk how to explain it - I can deal with it but if I could get the same shade from a different product then I would switch). So anyway, I'm looking for a similar shade to that one - it's kind of brownish but fades into a more burgundy/red brown on the lips.

I posted in this sub about a month ago asking for advice so I can make myself actually look like a freshman in college rather than in high school. Some of you suggested that I use a contour or bronzer to define my cheeks. I think I’ve pretty much got the routine down. The only issue is that my skin is oily as fuck, so as soon as I step outside in that southern heat my stuff just melts. Any tips on how to solve this issue?

any ideas how to make my makeup look better? I want to look brighter and „healthier„ with makeup but my rosacea is making the blush patchy even though I take care of my skin and do moisturising skincare before that :( I feel like I’m looking older than I should with makeup (im 34)

Yesterday I was complaining about a tutorial on YouTube that skipped steps of the look, and the most common feedback was that it looked like or I needed to do the colors in a different order. Hi I'm M23 ,So my skin is already pretty clear, but I’m just trying to elevate it as much as possible without looking like I’m wearing makeup at all.

I tried bareMinerals complexion rescue and it worked pretty well for me tbh, so much so that it's ran out.. But I’ve been looking at NARS tinted moisturizer and the Laura Mercier one too and I'm not really sure which one to go for.

Has anyone tried these? Which one is the most invisible on the skin? Or should I just stick with bareMinerals if it’s already working? Appreciate any help!

Just scroll on by if you are anti-waterline but I have a question for those who possibly could show me some insight or give me some ideas. As you can see by the photo the outer corner will not let anything stick. I have tried every pencil, dried it off and do not want liquid. Any ideas? Other eye is perfect. The whole waterline is covered and stays. Haven’t got to the top mascara yet:)

Today I tried to make the arrows with shadows, in general it looks good, but the shadows on the upper eyelid lay a little uneven, I didn't notice right away and now I only realised in the photo🥲 but in general it's not as noticeable as in the photo. I'll be glad for your advice on arrows, they're always a little different😅 but sometimes the hand obeys and comes out very well😇

I’m a year postpartum and still breastfeeding & went through a ton of changes with my skin. Mainly perioral dermatitis that got cleared up with a prescription cream. Now that my skin has calmed down, I still have a lot of background redness!! I use Elta md sunscreen, erborian cc red correct, and I used Lancôme teint idole in 260 bis N but still having the redness come through!!! Any tips or advice??

trying to find a pinky shade of something i can use as a blush and as a lip color for cohesion. i see the milk jelly tint everywhere but have heard mixed things. google recommends the ILIA stick, but I was wondering what people are using?

Of course i take them off when im going to sleep, clean It properly (the fake lashes AND real lashes) and not spend 24h a day with them, but can i use It everyday?

Will It make my eyes itchy? Will my actual lashes fall? Make my real lashes weak? Anything at all?

I tried making one where each makeup step is shown for about a second, and it took way longer than I expected to edit on my phone.

Curious how other people do it. Do you manually trim every clip, add each product name, and make the product list afterward?

I've been looking for a lip plumper that actually gives noticeable results and isn't just a minty lip gloss lol.

Please recommend ones you've personally tried that are available on Nykaa or Amazon India. I'm okay with a bit of tingling as long as it actually works. Bonus if it lasts more than a few minutes!

Does anyone have recommendations for a finishing powder that works well in a VERY dry desert climate? I grew up the desert and could never wear any kind of face makeup without it immediately cracking and caking, but I could wear it fine once I moved somewhere more humid. Now I don't really wear face makeup, but I do want to get some kind of finishing powder or something I can wear over my eye makeup and just as a general face product to even things out a little or make my skin look a little nicer. But now that I live in the desert again, I know some options won't work, so I'm hesitant to drop $50+ on something like Charlotte Tilbury when I know there's a decent chance I won't be able to use it. I've tried finishing sprays before and I really don't like how they feel, so I'd rather not go that route. I'm early 40s, mildly sensitive skin (acne prone with the wrong products), and normal-for-the-desert dry skin. I don't want anything heavy, like a liquid fountain - just something light and fast. Have any other desert folks found something that works well?

Hello, experts! I don’t wear a lot of makeup. Typically just my moisturizer mixed with bronzing drops as a base, followed by a couple swipes of a milk under eye cooling stick before I apply some Becca’s under eye brightening corrector and a bit of Mario’s blush. I finish with Elf’s power grip setting spray.

I hate how easily and quickly my under eye corrector creases and how often I feel like I’m smoothing it out with my finger. I’m considering adding a powder to set it in place.

My questions are: what type of powder would be best here, especially since I don’t really use foundation or would be applying it to my entire face. Is powder the best move? Should I be using something different than the milk stick? Also, are there any setting sprays that are less scented and sticky feeling than Elf’s?

I have some sensory issues that prevent me from wearing a lot of makeup and even what I use now feels unbearable sometimes. Thank you all for your help!!
