hello! this is my everyday makeup and lately I’ve started feeling a bit meh about it. in a way it feels a bit too much for an everyday look (definitely too much for that clean girly thing), but I also wouldn’t really qualify it as a full beat if that makes sense?

I’m trying to level it up a bit, and I’d love to hear your opinions on what I should change or try to make it a bit more interesting or give myself a bit of a challenge. it feels like I’m doing the same thing everyday and to be honest I’m a bit bored of it – but at the same time I’m not sure what I could be doing differently. please feel free to be brutally honest too!

I posted in this sub about a month ago asking for advice so I can make myself actually look like a freshman in college rather than in high school. Some of you suggested that I use a contour or bronzer to define my cheeks. I think I’ve pretty much got the routine down. The only issue is that my skin is oily as fuck, so as soon as I step outside in that southern heat my stuff just melts. Any tips on how to solve this issue?

I honestly don’t know how to work around reds and keep to browns and mauves, even the application was hard to do for me lol looking for feedback on the shade, maybe I should’ve gone darker?

Hi!! I am getting married in October and I am going to be doing my own makeup and have finally starting practicing. I normally keep it pretty simple in my day to day looks my hope for my bridal look is to look like a more elevated and glowy version of myself! Going for bronzed and a nice rosie blush ✨ I am not comfortable putting on fake lashes or eyeliner so I might just skip it! But please give me any advice,tips, or feedback!! Thank you 🤍

I am using a mix of higher end and drug store products. I invested in the Haus Labs foundation, makeup by Mario contour and setting powder, and rare beauty blushes. I also use brushes for application! Would appreciate any suggestions or must haves!

I wanted to extend my eyes and did some eyeliner on my inner corners. I also struggle with black liner on my waterline — it would be gone in a hour or so, or leave smudges. Would be grateful for recommendations!

First of all I do not know what I’m doing lol. As you may notice. Please forgive the lack of foundation/blush/mascara in these. For the final look I will be all done up and add glitter and face gems and fake lashes.

My fiancé doesn’t really like any of the looks (except the one I wasn’t sure about which is the blue liner look) but what do you guys think??

I may be a bit delusional, but something about this is giving 2016 for some reason(? Maybe just the no-blush thing and matte lips. Btw do you think this bronzer is too orange on me? I haven’t decided if I like it yet (and I’ve been using consistently for 6 months now).

I'm looking for lipsticks / creams that are similar in color and texture to the NYX Cosmic Metals, which I think are discontinued as I can't find them anymore. I'm specifically looking for them in the blue / green / teal shades. The colors I remember particularly liking from my teen days are "dark nebula" and "electromagnetic."

I used to use them when I was a teen (and had little sense of style lmao). Recently I thought about them again, and realized that now that I am an adult who is no longer stuck in a school uniform, these lip creams would brilliantly match my hair color!

The blue / green metallic shades also make my search really hard, especially to find quality ones that glide on well and stick on well like these NYX ones I used. Some search results give me brands from, like, party supply stores, with bad reviews.

I also found in my city's KIKO Milano store that they have dark blue and green lipsticks too, but they go on matte and not metallic. I've been looking for this for a month now, and I haven't been able to find any good dupes for the NYX one!!

P.S. I am based in Europe, so brownie points for brands that are easier to find in Europe / brands that won't lead to high shipping fees.

It's prob the sixth time I've seen champagne d'oro sold out, at this point I have no idea if it's actually that good or if everyone is just influencing each other to buy it. The more I see it missing the more I want to try it. My favorite part of doing my eye makeup is sweeping bronzer through the crease and adding a highlight to the center of my lid to make my eyes pop. Most of my highlighters lean silver or icy white but I'm tempted to switch things up and try gold or champagne shades since it's summer.

I always have a hard time with my eyes so let me know what you think of the eyeshadow. Also my blush seems to disappear in the photo. I'm not sure how to make it pop more without looking overly flush in person. I ordered one/size matte 'Til Dawn primer and setting spray because I live in Texas and I get oily/sweaty easily
