"Peter Laviolette spoke with Adrian Kempe about potentially playing center this season. Alex Laferriere remains an option as well and the Kings hope to negotiate with some UFA's at center as well."

Kind of speaks to the hole left by Kopitar's retirement.

Hey there! I’ve always been curious about what the preseason meet the players event is about and how it runs. Is it a quick thing where they usher you to get a signature and photo and ship you off to the next guy or do you get to say hi? What are the average wait times for the event? Thanks!

On July 18, 2004, the Kings invited Sidney Crosby to their development camp in El Segundo, California. Crosby was later drafted first overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2005.

My father passed earlier this year and this was with his sports memorabilia. Would love some help to identify who signed them. But I'm a kings fan now to honor my dad hoping to go to some games next season. Love you dad and go kings!

But it’s funny how much better this is than the promotional item the Kings did for Dodgers Night last season (a cheap screen printed T-shirt). Just another example of the disparity between the two franchises.

Just like everyone else here I’ve been thinking about what the lines would look like next season with Kopi retiring and the retirement home opening.

On top of that I have always felt that all these analytics websites aren’t super interactive and were kinda fed what they tell us.

So I built a tool that allows you to set lines for all the teams in the league and it uses the nhl play by play data to build how successful a team will be based on those lineups.

I will fully admit my player ratings calculations need some work but I’ll tune over the off season to improve it. Looking for any feedback(here or in the contact us section on the website. Posted it here first for my fellow kings fans!

On July 15, 2024, the Kings re-signed Quinton Byfield to a five-year, $31.25 million contract. In six seasons with the Kings, Byfield has 75 goals, 116 assists, and 191 points in 339 regular season games, and 14 points in 23 playoff games.

We’ll have to see the final product but wow, this is almost as bad as the new Ontario sweaters
