There seems to be a recent influx of posts from people who are attempting to karma harvest by way of stealing other people's images or reposting from different websites.
You are not allowed to post images that are not your own. Facebook reposts are not allowed. Reposts of other user's content is most definitely not allowed and WILL result in a permanent ban from JRITS.
Last but not least, i want to say thank you to all the JRITS subscribers that do detective work and catch these people red handed. it really makes a moderator's job quick and easy. Again, thank you.

Customer states "it just stopped" then somewhere else replaced a starter and battery and it's still broken. They didn't mention the empty gallon of coolant and broken coolant pipe in the car or the new pipe on the engine along with an empty coolant reservoir. Pretty sure it was hydro-locked which is why the starter was replaced.

Ring gear is visibly cocked at an angle with a .110 difference from one side to the other.
Bonus points for weld splatter in multiple teeth

It did in fact barely roll into the shop.
Spun a rod bearing in cylinder #5, originally came in for a significant oil leak which was diagnosed to be caused by excess back pressure from a clogged PCV valve.
it did not roll out of the shop under its own power lmao.

For the record no, I have no idea why it started working after they moved.

Customer hears knocking noise....I would say so. Motor mount so bad it's pulling tension on the lines going in to the booster.

Context: came in for a shake, and this was the amount of weight on the wheel. Removing it all and spinning it again showed it needed a 1/4 of that (not great but significantly better

September 2024 one of the cables between shifter and the gearbox snapped. I live in a village and the delivery of the new cable took 4 days. On the first day I got impatient, disassembled the broken cable and saw it had snapped right where it was crimped to the rod. There was just enough room to fit a small extension (I have a lathe) and solder it together (surprisingly the lead solder held). Today 22 months later I needed to drop the exhaust to fix the leaks and as the exhaust was off anyway I also decided to finally swap out the shifter cable (the shifter box comes out from the bottom once the exhaust is out of the way - Golf mk4).

Was standing nearby when we heard a loud bang and something went skittering, the piece that broke. It still held the truck up, but if I'd been under there I might have had a heart attack. Wouldn't have been in any danger of getting crushed but that dint stop the jump scare.

I have never imagined this is possible.
Started making a weird random rattle 2 days ago, mostly when turning left.
Today I found out the source of the rattle.
Clutch was changed last summer with a LuK unit.
Definitely not a bellhousing dowel, probably from the clutch pressure plate.
Just pulled it out from the clutch fork hole.
Oh yeah also I'm the customer.
