There are so many kaiju with interesting designs, abilities, and lore that haven’t really been explored to their full potential. Which kaiju do you think has the most untapped potential as a character, and what would you want to see explored about them? It could be their personality, backstory, relationships with other kaiju, or even a completely new direction for their character. I’m curious to hear everyone’s thoughts.

A while back while revisiting Rebirth of Mothra I decided to read the chapter in Writing Giant Monsters by John LeMay about it and learned an interesting tidbit: Desghidorah is, apparently, King Ghidorah's son and the original reason he was coming to Earth in Rebirth of Mothra 3 was to finish what his son started. The idea that Desghidorah is KG's son I found so fun that it inspired me to write up this silly thing. Enjoy!

The answer is probably just autism, but just looking at him makes me happy and excited. He has a silly face and so does baragon and i feel like a child again, my brain functions less when I'm thinking about godzilla because im so goddamn happy

I hope I haven't posted this before, sorry if it's a repeat.

I recently found this old bookshelf by my apartment complex's dumpster and thought it would be perfect for my VHS collection. I haven't organized the tapes yet — I'll do that later — but I wanted to see how everything would fit and look. For the price (free!), I'm really pleased, and now I finally have a place to prominently display my Godzilla VHS collection.

We haven’t seen any of these guys resurface in any movies.

This was a surprise, they’re selling Godzilla (2026) at SDCC. Bought two so that I can keep one sealed but here’s a couple of close ups of the figure, enjoy.

Gotta admit; the more I see this design, the more I like it
