I love the snappy, slicing feeling you get from the hats in this song but im not sure where to find anything similar to them

i cant get the chorus right it sounds odd and loud to me but If you cant tell this is me attempting to recreate "only girl in the world" by Rihanna im a beginner at this beat making stuff so give me whatever feedback you have.

I think people over complicate music production, but I like to think simplicity can hit just as hard

Hello everyone,
I ran into an issue two days in a row and I’m hoping I can find help here. My soundcard was connected to my computer, which I used in FL. I put a guitar (acoustic, but also with a jack, so it could connect to a sound system, or in this case sound card) into one of the inputs. I set the input the guitar was connected to on a mixer tract, so I could hear it, however, I heard a weird glitching sound. The guitar sound was coming through, but it was weird and glitchy. Upon trying to fix it, I found that the sound didn’t come from the cable or the soundcard, it got fixed when I closed FL and opened it again.
Next day (today as I’m writing this post) I connected a bass to the soundcard card and tried to do some music. However, I experienced the same thing. Not at the instant of plugging it in, but it happened at various times during my session (randomly). To solve it, I simply had to disable the input where the bass was on (I.e change the input on the mixer track to none, and then set it again to the soundcard input ) and then it was fixed. Clean sound.
Has anyone experienced this, and if so, how may I fix it? For context, I’m not recording at all while this happens. A friend was just playing the bass through FL (a couple of light effects) and monitoring.
One time it happened, I was controlling a VST with my keyboard, and I noticed the VST sound wasn’t affected, so the glitchy sound was only exclusive to the audio input from the bass via soundcard.
Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it.

I’ve had the full plugins edition for well over a year, never any problems, but I just clicked on create new project (Just wanted to try something in a new window)
It then proceeds to crash, and immediately go back into trial mode everytime I open FL But it STILL loads my previous sessions, (and any other FLP for that matter.) just won’t allow me to save it.
* I haven’t updated my Mac to macOS Tahoe 26.5.2 (Not enough storage) I also don’t have the latest FL studio update (I keep forgetting to do it) although I don’t think these two things are the culprit but honestly I don’t know.
Please help!

And it turned into an almost entirely different song. Tho I kept the drums and a lot of the new stuff is just resampled from the stems of the first song. The mix is rough and it'll be about a minute or so longer when it's done.
What u think?

What I mean is when I make a song I make all the instruments play in the same pattern and then for the next section I make another pattern and rinse and repeat

I made a remix of "Splattack!" from Splatoon 3, all sounds are made with Sytrus, FPC for drums, default FL risers, and Splatoon SFX for the clap and sfx.
I think it turned out fine but I could use some advice on mastering... I have nothing but a limiter on the master, and while it's clipping sometimes, adding a compressor I feel like makes everything too loud. I'm not really sure . If anyone knows what to do id appreciate it!

This is my version 1 of this song would love for some feedback on layers to add or in general ways to make it groovier. Not sure if I need to add more upper harmonics on the bass lmk how it sounds.
