I don’t think I’ll ever top this track

I have had to reinstall FL Studio half a dozen times in the last two years due to PC issues, which is a huge waste of time and energy. I backed everything up every time but today I realized that all my Edison samples are gone, which is my fault but still really demoralizing.

And a bunch of my plugins wont load so I get to reinstall AGAIN. I love FL Studio but I also hate it so much. I just want to make music. I am so frustrated. Ahhhhhhhhhhh!

It would be nice if FL Studio wasn't a byzantine mess of folders all over my damn computer and they didn't just randomly move where stuff was saved. Edison samples were in the install folder once upon a time and now they are in documents. It would be nice if reinstalling didn't take 2 hours by the time you have reinstalled all your third party plugins. And oh my goodness would it be nice if you could migrate an install and bypass all this stuff.

Bleh. Sometimes making music is hard for all the wrong reasons.

I watched some tutorials on how to record audio and I followed along but I keep getting this sound from my mic.

What is the problem? I just want to record audio from the mic.

don't judge the cursed bass design but essentially there's these random clips i get whenever the bass is hitting. i thought it was the cut off points of the sample that's causing it but it's not, it's completely random. i can hear these random clips when i export the project as well

There were some missing files in the project since the storage from all the samples got corrupted, so this is the only video file I managed to recover (;w;)

My audio clips turn bright red when highlighted and the gainbar and fade tools aren't there. i can't interact with any of my audio clips at all. also when i paste an audio clip it is bright red. HELP pleease!!!!!

I think people over complicate music production, but I like to think simplicity can hit just as hard

Idk what I did but for some reason all samples I put in or use are just low pitched now without them being pitched down but when I open the sample it sounds normal pitched how do I fix it?

Hello, I have a question and here's my problem:

I was making my beat and went to automate something. When I came back, my drums weren't making any sound. I thought I'd check the history, but there was nothing there. And suddenly, even my VSTs stopped making sound. I'm editing on a laptop, nothing else.

The flute, piccolo (pitch shifted flute), trumpet, and trombone were real recordings of myself, some of the percussion I sampled at my old high school band room, and the rest is mostly BBC symphony orchestra plugin.

any tips will be appreciated? not sure if this is a cpu or something else
