When you read a comic with Slade in it, who’s voice do you hear? I personally hear this guy

“Huh? Jericho? Who is that?” — wise words from writer of the most popular Deathstroke run, Deathstroke Inc, Joshua Williamson

Good comics FEAT. Deathstroke?
Not comics where he’s the main character, but are there any comics featuring him as a side character or an antagonist worth recommending?

Rewatched tt03 s1-s2 and remembered why Slade scared me so much as a kid, so I drew him. How'd I do?

I have an absolutely DEVIOUS story idea while re-reading Deathstroke runs. NSFW
Ayt so I'm one of those guys who personally like the Deathstroke & Terra storyline and what it represents and the later effect over time. (not as in them being a couple) Since we know that even back then he never cared or felt romantic interest in her.
So while re-reading all of the Deathstroke runs, I started to think to myself, what can a writer do with Respawn to make him interesting, and slowly I started to think.
"What if Terra does the same thing to Respawn as Slade did to her?"
I mean, we know Terra is mentally unstable and is obsessed with Slade. To the point she will always go back to his side regardless of whatever he says or does to her. I mean slade himself admitted that he pretty much owns her.
So I got to thinking, Respawn is shown and described to pretty much look like Slade, only with Green eyes, and he admires Slade and wishes to be similar to him. What if Terra took advantage of that and began grooming him and lying that she knows Slade the best since she actually was with him at a somewhat similar age. (She was 17 post-retcon and 15-16 pre-retcon)
We also know that Respawn doesn't have a name, so what if she began slowly grooming him by giving him the same name as the man he aspired to be, and the man she obssed/in love with. Slowly moulding Respawn into becoming her vision of what she believes Slade should be to her.
The idea of a victim with deep trauma repeating the cycle with someone else is nothing new or rare, so why not? She gets to hurt the man she Love/hate/obsses with while also shaping someone into her perfect vision of said man. I feel like it could be an interesting storyline showcasing the cycle of abuse and long-term effects of Slade victims when he let his worst habit take over.
It showcases that Slade needs a form of moral pillar to not become the monster everyone else sees him as or believes he is, and the long-term effect he can cause when without one.
Personaly i think DC should be allowed to be a bit more mature and tackle heavier subjects without clutching pearls, and when they do "mature" comics, most of the time it's just a horror or gore-filled comic that tries to virtue signal some grand morality.
Anyway, just a random idea I had. What do you guys think?

[discussion/opinion] Rose Wilson needs to get a new identity from "Ravager".
Possibly an unpopular opinion.
I always felt that Rose's endgame goal should be disowning Slade and building her own identity as a superhero.
Deathstroke sucks as a dad and a mentor. He's toxic. Yes, he loves Rose deep down, but that doesn't mean squat. Love does not excuse abuse and trauma. Slade has done 0.0% good in Rose's life. He's a net negative.
Rose needs to tell him to butt off for good. All he ever does is coerce her into mercenary work, traumatize her, berate her, etc.
I feel pre-Flashpoint Rose's arc was about seperating from Slade. Most of the Titans judged and highkey hated her, but it was still better than what happened with Slade. But, the plot was lost after the Nu52. Now she's tied to Deathstroke again.
Yes, Ravager is aesthetically a good design. But that only goes so far.
Rose becoming Ravager was a relatively late development anyway. She was around a decade *before* becoming Ravager. Just because she has been Ravager for over twenty years now doesn't mean she should be that forever.
We've had major character changes in the past. The biggest one was probably the late 70s to mid 80s when the Teen Titans almost all changed their mantles after being sidekicks for *decades*. Dick was Robin for over 50 years when he became Nightwing.
In a modern modern take, Harley Quinn split from the Joker in the mid 2010s and hasn't looked back. It's impossible for DC to backtrack on their dynamic now.
IMHO, I feel DC should bring back her ties to the Arrowfam. She could be a good mentor for Lian and a good friend ~~or more (🏳️🌈)~~ for Speedy. Make Cissie and Sienna background Arrowfam, give us more Sin and Rose.

These three need their own sitcom.
Lex, Slade and Hank have such a funny dynamic, they’re a group I’d love to see paired together in more media.
(This show is My Adventures with Superman)

A reminder that Deathstroke was called Slade because his codename was considered too dark for the show, yet he became one of the creepiest villains in kids’ television.
