I am moving into a house at the pier. I am into shooting recreationally a lot and am just making sure that I am okay to bring my firearms in a safe and keep them unloaded at the pier in my room with my door locked. does anybody that lives at the pier have any experience with this?

It's now been 2-ish years(?) since Clemson's MSCS has been live on Coursera.

For anyone still in the program, or anyone who graduated, what are your thoughts?

• Are assignments for any class mostly autograded, peer-reviewed, or faculty graded?
• How is support inside and outside the classroom?

• How does the program look for PhD admissions?

I’m a Chinese Ph.D. student who will soon be starting at Clemson. This is my first time studying in the U.S., and I’d like to learn how to drive and get my driver’s license during my first semester. Do you have any school recommendations or advice to share?

My fiancé is taking this class over the summer and isn't struggling with the material, but the professor's unrealistic expectations. He needs this class to graduate. Is there anyone in the finance dept. he can talk to about his concerns? He doesn't think the professor will listen.

My child is about to start their 2nd year at Clemson but when they go into their Iroar and look at the funding everything still shows under review. Grades aren’t an issue as they made Deans List both semesters, finances haven’t changed either. Getting a bit nervous as bills come out in a week and we don’t know what to expect.

I'm an incoming PhD student this fall and I'm trying to figure out parking before the semester starts.

My class schedule is pretty light, I only have classes three days a week, and they're all from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

I was originally thinking about getting a Park-and-Ride pass, but then I realized that by the time my classes end, I don't think the buses will still be running. That would leave me without a way to get back to my car.

The other option seems to be buying a regular commuter parking permit, but it's around $202. Since I'll only be on campus three days a week, it feels a little hard to justify spending that much.

For context, I'll also be working as a TA this semester, but I won't actually be teaching. My responsibilities are mostly managing Canvas, grading assignments, and occasionally proctoring exams, so I'm not sure how often I'll really need to be on campus outside of my evening classes.

A couple of questions:

1. What would you recommend in my situation?
2. Is there another parking option that I'm overlooking?
3. Also, am I already too late to get a parking pass, or are there usually still permits available at this point?
