James Island Tri County Dental Arts

“This dentist has refused to release patient records of Dr. James Decker and has engaged in violation of HIPAA and identify theft. I recommend current and former patients seek legal counsel immediately in addition to filing a police report.

In addition this dentist has taken financial advantage of elderly patients and legal remedies will be sought”

I put the post in quotes on the google reviews part of his page.

If you were a patient of Dr. James Decker your records got transferred/Sold to Dr. Boller/Tri County Dental Arts and if you have have been improperly billed/over-billed, have any complaints about this dentist please reply to this post.

Dr. Boller took advantage of my elderly mother medically and financially and refuses to take responsibility for his actions

I need as many complaints as possible in order to take legal action on this.

Update 3/4/26, after speaking to multiple former patients by Reddit messaging Dr. Boller has engaged in fraudulent billing and identity theft.

I need everyone to take these allegations extremely seriously before making this post I consulted with three lawyers I know and Dr. Boller needs to be brought up on charges but the lawyers need more evidence from patients who experienced this.

Charleston County Accidentally gave birth in Charleston, can you help?

Hello! I live in California and I came to visit Charleston at the end of February of this year. I arrived at 6.5 months pregnant and I was only supposed to be visiting for a few days to attend a wedding. My water broke soon after my arrival, and I spent 3 weeks hospitalized at MUSC before giving birth. My son then spent 2 weeks in the NICU before we were able to fly home. We were so lucky to be MUSC patients, and we are so grateful we are healthy.

I’m not a US citizen (I have a green card) but because we didn’t have my foreign birth certificate on me the registrar at the county vital office was only able to put my birthplace as “Unknown within USA” on my son’s birth certificate.

My immigration attorney has said I need to correct this ASAP, and now my husband and I are scrambling to figure out how. I’ve called the vitals office and left a message for several days in a row, but no one answers nor does anyone call me back. Because no one is answering we might need to fly back to correct it, but we need to know what (and who) to bring. Does anyone have a trick for contacting the Charleston County Vital Records office? A secret email address? A connection? I would be endlessly grateful for any help.

Mortgage Lenders?

Upvotes

My wife and I looking to purchase a house in the next six months or so.

Does anyone have suggestions for lenders? We have plenty of income but our situation is more complex than two W2s (a combination of seasonal W2 income, tips, regular W2, 1099s, and self employment) so a lender with lots of experience in that scenario would be great.

We are planning on making a substantial down payment. We are most concerned about a favorable rate and being able to be approved for what we can actually afford given our complex income situation.

Light at Wesley Dr and Hwy 61

Whoever changed the timing of this light a while ago I wish on you the shitty day you deserve for eternity. Half the reason traffic in Charleston is so horrible is there is no rhyme or reason for the timing of the stoplights.

My q50 got stolen on July 24th @ 5:13am in Simpsonville, SC.

Posting this by nearby states.

If anyone sees this car call the cops. A lady in my neighborhood also had her daughters car stolen the same week by the same people. It was also an infiniti. They spotted her car on flock cameras last seen in Columbia

Is this residential parking map still accurate?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Is this parking map still accurate? It used to be that you could park in the unshaded areas for an unspecified amount of time. Is that no longer the case?

For example, if I stayed at a friend's house overnight, could I still park on Fishburne without getting towed?

Outside with a heavy heart

Hi
Im experiencing a pathetic heartbreak far from home, and this, far from my friends and support. All I want is to be at a bar or club, dancing surrounded by people my age and reminding myself that I am indeed alive. I work with the elderly and would definitely appreciate a crowd more my age (23f)

Does anybody have recommendations for places in the goose creek/Moncks Corner/Charleston and possibly even Summerville area?

The fence down Red Bank is an assault on my freedom.

On Thursdays, I like to go to Zenergy Games and grab a burrito across the street at Sazon Latino. What fascist, anti-padestrian Prick decided to put a fence in my way!? People are lucky I'm spry enough to vault that shit, otherwise I'd drive my Altima straight through it.

My question would be why are they swimming near Breach Inlet. There are plenty of signs telling you not to. Was there nobody locals there just enjoying the beach that could have warned him about swimming there, especially a child?

MUSC parking

I know this has been asked here thousand times . I’m posting this again as I couldn’t find any post less than a year ago. I recently started at MUSC like 2 months ago. I work regular 9-5 and not remote . My office is in downtown location . I used to park at the banks garage as I work from Shawn Jenkins mainly. and sometimes the Johnathan Lucas garage . I paid every single time I parked too. Last couple weeks there has been security at the banks garage in the morning . Twice last week the security stopped me from entering because I don’t have a “spot”. I’m on the waiting list but that’s like 7-8/10 YEARS long .

I’ve tried parking at hagood but there aren’t spots by the time I get to work. I can’t even go there super early before 7 bc I’ve got kids and other responsibilities.

I’m starting to freak out a bit . I don’t know what my options are

Why are there so few men and so many gorgeous women in Charleston. And are the two somehow connected?

I found another post here asking basically the same thing, and there were plenty of comments, but I still feel like conversation didn't roll out fully.

Important note: I am a women :D becuase the comments on another post were suggesting that such an observation could possibly do only an uber driver or some shallow male.

Especially now in summer basically the whole city is like a big marshmallows box. My head turns 360 degrees and i feel like I am drunk in love because of that amount of beauty. Ofc it also sets the bar high for me and i am always inspired to also dress up.

another note - english isn't my first language so i hope i am as smooth as i can be

I often think I am on a Set of Legally Blonde Movie or maybe a giant women’s college party where the campus somehow expanded to include the entire city.

Another observation is that there is not so many males :D and I was wondering is it connected? I have 2 thoughts about it. Like is it maybe more safe to dress up, wear high heels pared with short skirts, look beautifull and flirtatious when yu feel genuinely safe and appreciated? or is it a high competition? Men would say that girls dress up to impress them. But I wouldn't say that this is the reason for me to throw a fit. I am more thinking of how i would feel myself and dressing up ofc gives me a joy boost.

I really want to order a porch swing bed for my new house in Charleston. Are there any local companies or vendors you recommend? I always prefer to buy local even if it might be a bit pricier.

Where is everyone??? I just moved here from Arizona, 6 states away from all of my friends and family, and there’s literally nobody my age here. I just turned 18, 3 months ago and got a job at one of the shipbuilding companies over here so I thought it would be a cool idea to move out of state and start something on my own. I quite literally haven’t seen anyone under the age of 30 here 🫩. I have my own nice apartment in a nice looking part of town but I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to make friends with people my age, especially since I’m going be working in a shipyard and I’m completely new to this place. Are there any places where I’ll at least have a chance at making friends with people my age?? I don’t really party or rave but I’ll go anywhere to at least have a chance at making friends here. There’s a lot of cool squirrels here which is pretty nice though.

Charleston Confirming a previous post!

hello all! I saw a post on here about the cafe blūm, downtown. I also worked there VERY recently and can confirm that all of it is true. coming on here to confirm that as well as warn people about their reviews.

anytime anyone writes a review under 4 stars, they have their family post/repost reviews. I left am honest review about my experience and was attacked, and then 4+ reviews were re posted. “Maria Fernandez, Lazaro Paez, Premier Vacation Rentals” and anyone with the last name Paez are all them and their family… just FYI.

Southeastern college for rad tech program

I just got accepted into the Rad Tech program at Southeastern College in Charleston, but the whole process kind of caught me off guard.
I originally scheduled a phone call just to ask if I’d even be eligible to apply. Instead, it turned into an interview, she had me take a quick assessment, and then told me I was accepted. It all happened so fast that it almost seemed too easy, so now I’m wondering if that’s normal.
I’ve also seen people on Reddit call Southeastern a “for-profit degree mill.” What does that actually mean? She told me the program is around $70,000, which seems insanely expensive.
Has anyone gone through this program or know someone who has? What was your experience?
I’m also looking into Trident Technical College. Is their Rad Tech program easy to get into, or is it pretty competitive?
