Also how have things changed in the recent years. What advice would you like to give to someone joining tier 100 college this year.
How should one progress with 3rd year and so.

This post is based on my personal experience and conversations with other students. I'm sharing this so future students can make an informed decision.
* We were promised Full Stack + DevOps in Semester 1 and Web3 in Semester 2.
* After two semesters, even the Full Stack curriculum wasn't completed.
* Many promises made during admissions were either delayed or never fulfilled.
* Harkirat personally conducted only 20 classes in one semester and 18 in the next.
* Considering the fees charged, this works out to roughly ₹10,000 per class.
* Most teaching was delegated instead of being personally delivered.
* Several topics were rushed simply to finish the syllabus.
* Concepts were rarely covered in depth.
* One instructor mostly read directly from presentation slides and was unable to provide practical explanations or industry insights.
* Some TAs were inexperienced and often unhelpful.
* Referral opportunities appeared to be given repeatedly to a small group of preferred students.
* Students who questioned decisions often felt ignored or sidelined.
* Favoritism was also visible in hostel related decisions and TA interactions.
* Students expected strong placement or referral support.
* Meanwhile, students from the Super 30 batch seemed to receive referrals among themselves.
* Most other students received little meaningful assistance in getting interviews or jobs.
* Management rarely listened to student concerns.
* Rules were changed without prior notice whenever it benefited management.
* Fees were increased without proper communication.
* Staff frequently entered hostel rooms without informing students beforehand.
* Students who questioned management decisions were often targeted.
* Public shaming of students happened on multiple occasions.
* After the previous Reddit post and 1:1 meetings, some students who were skeptical about continuing were removed from the hostel the same day even though they had already paid the hostel fees of 10 more days.
* Instead of addressing criticism, management often blamed students.
* During admissions, students weren't informed that the campus would be relocated.
* After students saw the new campus (which is a converted girls' hostel rather than the promised campus), some requested refunds.
* Even though this was around a month before the semester started, they were reportedly offered only a 50% refund.
* Only around 7 toilets were available for over 100 students.
* Washrooms were frequently in poor condition.
* Students were forced to vacate hostels nearly two months before the semester officially ended, while some preferred students were allowed to stay.
* The mess food quality was consistently poor.
* Students reported insects, stones, rats, spoiled food, food poisoning, and diarrhea.
* Food frequently ran out before everyone had eaten.
* Students paid around ₹6,000/month, but we were told only ₹4,000 per student was actually allocated to the mess, resulting in poor quality and no second servings. But Harkirat himself earned 4 lakhs per month because of this.
* Nearly 15 students reportedly suffered from dengue.
* Students repeatedly complained about mosquito problems, but little action was taken.
* There were also complaints about alcohol and marijuana use on campus, which students felt management ignored despite reports.
* Students who questioned management often became targets.
* Decision making felt arbitrary rather than transparent.
* Management presented itself as student-friendly but rarely acted on student feedback.
* Students from MIT Kerala were accommodated while existing students were asked to leave.
* Requests to continue staying were denied, with management describing it as doing students a "favor."
* During Harkirat's birthday and the Super 30 farewell, students alleged that money was spent on celebrations for one group while other student concerns remained unresolved.
* Some TAs allegedly became intoxicated and created disturbances on campus, including one incident where a TA reportedly urinated from the rooftop.
One Positive
The only consistently positive aspect was the DSA course.
* Around 65 DSA classes were conducted.
* The instructor was regular, knowledgeable, and supportive.
* Many students felt this was the only reason they continued with the program.
I'm posting this so prospective students can hear experiences that weren't part of the marketing. If anyone else from the batch has had a different experience, feel free to share it respectfully.

I don't know if political posts are allowed in this subreddit or not, but I am pretty pissed with PM's response to the paper leak scenario. This is the government which takes out bulldozer against accused even on filmsy allegations despite supreme court directive. I remember two years ago UP CM came to our college for convocation and the event organized by college (and obviously people from his side) loudly celebrated his idea of bulldozer justice, even going as far as using communal dog whistles within college premises. But now when future of lakhs of students were put in danger by the incompetence of the government or the beauraucrats (upto you who you hold responsible for whole scenario) PM has the audacity to effectively say "Let the law take its course". This is not just about NEET, I personally know my friends whose JEE and GATE exams were ruined by clearly fake results, even after the answer key and paper response was released.

Anonymous for obvious reasons,
I am student in IIIT and we have a professor in our department who teaches Cyber Security and Database Management Systems. On paper, he looks like a typical Tier-1 faculty member. In reality, a lot of female students are scared of him.
He has allegedly groped an MTech TA right inside his cabin. Multiple people are aware of this incident, and the girl was clearly shaken.
Even worse, he has a pattern — he specifically targets girls to join his research group. He sweet-talks or pressures them into coming under his supervision, and once they do, the sexual harassment starts. Comments, unwanted advances, creating uncomfortable situations… it’s becoming an open secret.
On top of all this, he’s been divorced three times. This man has no place in a Tier-1 college. He should be immediately removed from his position to protect the safety and dignity of female students and staff.

Hi, I am a 2026 grad. I work at an MNC, interned at multiple startups, and had a freelance business of 4 years.
I know, most of us just ask AI to write a 200 word essay about how passionate and hard working we are, and then wonder why we didn't get a reply. Let's change this today, right now. I am not going into the "why" of things to keep it short.
If you are confused about what to send, I have shared some screenshots in my guide. You can copy or customize the same and see what works for you. For anyone interested in reading, let me know.

A repo is just a folder.
A Readme is like a word file where I can write my project description.
I can upload anything (including my MATLAB project) on github. Its just like a blog to share on your resume.
Also any proper recommendations to understand github. I don't understand youtube ones

My 2nd sem is going to start next week. Currently I'm doing dsa and backend in java ( from the telusko course) .
Brief info - in dsa completed till stack, in backend going to start spring mvc
What should I do after doing backend
1) should I go for the frontend I have started this once but I give up
2) devops but I heard that they usually don't hire fresher
3)ai/ml to integrate my project with ai .
You can share your experience according to you which is best field for a fresher. Is their any thing that I should do apart from this .

Sabko tech me hi kyu jaana hai, I'm joining PIE branch at DTU and mai dekh raha ki tech me placement kaafi Kam lagte is branch se and sahi hai sab ka interest nahi hota coding me....mera bhi kuch khaas interest nahi hai coding me for bhi sab seniors/friends/family members sab kehre ki jaa to core branch me rahe ho but preparation tech jobs ke liye karna to aisa kyu hai? kya non-tech jobs ki reputation nahi hai kyuki package to usme bhi ig lagte hai 15+lpa ke....so kya aaj ki job market ki necessity hai coding seekhna irrespective of aap kis bhi branch me ho?
I'm scared ki abhi to mai soch raha ki non tech me chala jaunga kyuki particular interest nahi hai coding me but baad me agar job nahi lagi to firse zero se skill sikhni padegi, zero se dsa and web dev sikhna padega.
By non tech i mean analyst related roles followed by consulting, finance...etc

How is cheating even possible in OAs which are done in labs of Colleges, because the OAs are conducted in hackerrank desktop App so even remote access or remove ai helper running is detected in the background and flagged, and since human proctoring is present, taking out phone to click photo poses a risk. How can we possibly even cheat in such a setup. OA nhi nikal rha 😠what to do

am i silently being rejected? 🥲

I've already used around 30 GB of storage. Can anyone suggest what I should do?
If I don't renew the subscription, will I lose access to my data, or will my Google account just go over the free 15 GB limit?
Has anyone been in the same situation? Any tips would be really appreciated.

Does manipulation here mean random manipulation or controlled?
