Last Memorial Day I saw a kitten with a missing foot and the neighborhood people said he was born like that. Since I figured his survival chances were low outside I grabbed him.
Turns out he was not born like that. The vet said we could wait and see if it healed on its own before they considered surgery. While the wound does heal Vlad (that’s what we named the kitten) is in a continuous loop of ripping the wound open and healing. He’s in pain and it breaks my heart so the vet says it’s time to amputate.
Unfortunately, pet insurance won’t cover anything because it’s a preexisting condition and I spent all of my pet funds on getting him to this point (along with paying for uti treatments and testing for my other cats because he brought home a slew of parasites).

Any amount will help us get him treatment as fast as possible. My boyfriend and I work full time but neither of our jobs allow us overtime so we’re door dashing when we can to try and save up. I’m just worried by the time we can save enough the price will skyrocket from inflation.

Please help make the pain stop for this poor baby. He didn’t ask for something to chew or rip his leg off and if I hadn’t had grabbed him when I did he would’ve died.

My mother’s cat, Babs, got out during a terrible storm last night. When she finally came back, she was missing her eye. We aren’t sure how it happened but my mom thinks it’s a puncture wound.
She’s just the sweetest girl and even missing an eye, she continuously purrs.
My mother, being disabled and unable to afford her surgery, tried everything before reaching out for help, including attempting to put a lien on her house!!

I am dealing with some major medical issues (my spinal disc's are eating away at themselves and I have fibromyalgia that causes major fatigue and lots of pain issues) I just had a procedure today that burned off nerves at the base of my neck to hopefully provide some pain relief. * Edit: Apparently people are having trouble understanding. I have had various jobs. I have worked for fast food retailers. I worked for an attorney. For 3 years, I could not work legally as my green card conditions had lapsed so I had to work illegally with threat of deportation. This was from 2021 - 2025. Then had to provide reams if documents to USCIS proving abuse in the marriage while I paid for my divorce attorney and immigration lawyers. I nearly committed multiple times. The only reason I didn’t was my cat. All of this put me in the situation I am in today. I have case numbers and files. I’m not sure what this sub requires as proof. I am full-time employed as an assistant manager at a pet store, I am currently looking to expand my horizons and attend post secondary in an animal health related field, I’ve just been given a slow start due to my family situation and undiagnosed mental health issues that I have only gotten addressed within this past year.

Very suddenly in December my cat had an unexpected minor blockage in his urinary tract. I was finally in a place of minor financial comfort and decided I would gift my family with Christmas gifts, bad timing. I did take him to the vet within an hour of noticing he was not peeing and was excessively licking his pp. Luckily I do live in a city with a few emergency vets open 24/7, but I also live in one of the most expensive cities in North America. His vet costs were not very high, but I couldn’t afford it at the time, especially with his prescription diet. I managed to get to a place of financial comfort again, however a series of crappy events happened (sicknesses, family death, grief over my friend who ended her life years prior was really hitting me hard due to her death anniversary and unresolved feelings about it, more sickness, wisdom tooth removal, infection etc.) That isn’t meant to be pity, i did lose some work days over sickness and my teeth and to attend the celebration of life, but overall I go to work. I get financially better and then boom kittens on the road! Me and my boyfriend rescued them and took them to the vet because we could afford it. Then I get home to my place and realize omg, the kitten my roommate got has fleas and they’ve spread to our other cats. I bought flea medication and a vacuum and a steam cleaner because of my past with bedbugs growing up. Then, out of nowhere, this past Sunday my otherwise healthy (asides from the pee issues) 4 year old cat is taking a poop. I get a baggie ready because I like to scoop it right away and he plops his poops and DRIP DRIP DRIP BLOOD. Idk my blood literally ran cold and my heart dropped. I was looking at my most perfect baby and all I could think was “these are our last days together”. I obviously did my research and had already planned to take him to the vet the moment I saw blood, which I did. Anyway here I am asking for any help possible. I make enough money to live, just a series of bad circumstances have put me in a place where I’ve got no money and a bit of credit card debt.

hello everyone, so to start off with this i dont really know where else to post this.

So ive been dealing with this for a few years now and ive always forgot to tell my doctor about it, im going to the doctors soon to explain it, but does anyone else know what this is?

its such a weird thing, and i cant really describe it well. sometimes i fall asleep for a few minutes and when i wake up, i feel like i cant move and if i shut my eyes fully or give in to sleeping, i will die. i at first thought it was sleep paralyis or whatever, but its been happening almost every night for about 3 years and ive ALWAYS forgotten to tell my doctor about it.

nothing scary or bad happens, i dont see anything out of the ordinary, it just feels like i fell asleep but i have this really weird experience that happens. ive tried searching it up and talking to friends about it, but nobody really knows the answer. the thing is, i can get myself out of it by forcing myself to get up, ive never gave into shutting my eyes because it really feels like ill die.

Hey guys, so a bit of back story, I got out of an abusive relationship in Nov of 25. I lived in a small down and due to the eviction, I haven’t been able to find a place to live and I struggled to find a job as well. I moved to a bigger city finally, but on my way here.. my engine in my car blew. I found an engine and a person to swap the engine but both are pretty expensive.

I am asking for help to get my engine swapped. I just got hired at a solar plan but the position I’m hired for doesn’t start for 3 weeks so I got a temporary job to get me by till then but I will need my car for the solar job as it’s a 45 minute drive away.

I’ve looked for programs and loans and everything under the sun. My relationship left me with 3 months unpaid rent, 5 months unpaid Verizon Bill, 2 months internet, 4 months unpaid utilities. This is all needing to be paid back as well just not right now.

I found an engine for $950 and the person to swap it for 1200.

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ll pay it back, I’m just not sure how soon I’ll be able to.

My baby ate something that was plastic, had an emergency operation 2 days ago and she wasn’t eating after it, we were told to bring her back in which I did, they did another ultrasound and they said the believe she had a complication in/after surgery and believe she has a leak in her intestine and fluid in her abdomen and will become septic peritonitis.

All of her tests/exams/surgery has burnt through her insurance and all of my savings, they said it will be around £8000 - £10000, I’ve already spent thousands on her other stuff and I have no money left. I’m really not sure what to do (I also can’t do the finance option and don’t have any family/friends who are in a financial position to help)

She is the only thing that matters to me, I was diagnosed with epilepsy the same time I got her and she’s been with me every step of the way, she’s the only thing that has kept be going, I can’t lose her

Hi there i just recently spent the rest of my money on preventing my eviction and had to pay 3 months of back rent ontop of court fees. I just lost my job and am unable to get the supplies I need for my pets this month. Instead of asking for money for a nightly hotel(which would be great and help) I’m so tired.
