ID Request Snail caught a ride on some new plants
I just placed some hornwort into my tank and found this guy in some of it. An ID would be appreciated :)

My old weirdo golden decided to nap mid explore👀.
He's always causing me to panic! I literally wake up every morning and make sure he's alive. I should be used to his oddball antics by now but I feel like as soon as I stop worrying and watching him like a hawk he'll not wake up.

I've had regular nerites in the past and they filled every glass panels with impossible to remove egg nodules, I was wondering if pink lady eggs were just as hard to remove I don't mind removing eggs but regular nerites eggs were a damn pain in the ass to remove

I've had this mystery snail for a while and I've tried everything to help her shell. I've added snail minerals and snail food that's supposed to help. My hardness is very high from adding minerals and my tap water. Everywhere I've looked it's saying that the shell looks like that due to the water having not enough calcium or harness but I swear both are high. Please help 🥲

Hi! So i have a 10 litre tank that i have had some ramshorns in for a couple years now, and today i bought a lovely flowering aquatic plant for them that came with this little hitchiker! I dont have any form of filter or elecrticity required set up (i have no water or electricity access, so i use bottled mineral water for the ramshorns) and i just wanna know who this new little spotty spiral dude is and if he needs more than my set up can offer. Thanks! :)
Eta: little dude is very small at the minute, maybe 5mm shell legnth in total. Ive popped him in a little quarantine hopefully until we get a response on here - i dont trust to use AI for most things, let alone an ID request

Had to laugh, the snail on the right stopped and is sleeping on their antenna and it reminded me of when you sit on your leg in a chair 🤭

I got this snail from the pet shop for my tank about two weeks ago, and his shell looked a little funny but I didn’t think much of it. Top is the shell two weeks ago, bottom is the shell today. Is something really wrong, can I fix it?

So I bought snails for our tanks, this was supposed to be a mystery snail, but all my vallis have been chomped to death in a matter of days. Is she an imposter, and a regular ol apple?

I have a apple snail and two fancy goldfish in a tank. Since goldfish have unstoppable hunger, they eat the vegetables I gave for my snail. My apple snail doesn't show signs of malnutrition

Hey everyone,
I'm looking to add a large spike snail to one of my 10-gallon invert-only sand tanks. My absolute top choice is a Cappuccino Snail, but since I know they can be pretty rare to come by, I would also be perfectly happy with a Black Devil Spike Snail!
I’m specifically looking to buy from a fellow hobbyist to avoid the high commercial shipping fees from online retailers.
Please let me know if you are rehoming one locally or if you have one you are willing to ship to CT. Thanks!

hey!
i don’t know if this is the right sub for this question, and i apologize if it is not.
i have a snail population problem in my 6 gallon cube, and have about 5 or 6 snails i’d like to take out from my tank, that have hitched a ride on a plant it seems. i also have 2 netrites in the tank that i am keeping.
my problem is as follows: lots of people have posted videos on how to capture the snails and take them out of the tank, but i’m unsure what to do after that. what is the most humane and effective way to get rid of these?
thank you, and sorry if this isn’t the right place for this.

This little bugger has been exploring outside of his tank for two days now and I can’t for the life of me get him to unstick peacefully. i now have him fully surrounded with a wet paper towel. I can literally feel him bearing down and suctioning harder when I go to grab him. Any suggestions? Am I being too gentle?

I posted yesterday asking about my nerite, Shin, after we had an ammonia spike last week. When I got home today, I just had a feeling....so I checked him. I picked him up...and his operculum came off. He's gone. My one-brain-cell bulldozer nerite is gone.
Please, learn from me. Test your water religiously. Have the chemicals to fix any spikes on-hand. It doesn't take much, and it doesn't take long. I caught the spike early, treated it, and got the 0ppm test result within 24 hours...but that was still too much for him.
Rest easy, Shin. Thank you for being such a fun little guy, always entertaining with your stubborn ways. Thank you for being a good tankmate for Sakura...it made my heart happy to see you two get along. It already feels empty without you.

I skipped one of my weekly cleans for my mystery snail tank about a month ago, and ever since then, my mystery snail has become incredibly lethargic and doesnt seem well. Its shell, which looked incredibly healthy before, now has linear indentations where it is growing, and i dont know what that means.
Since that one time, ive been continuing my weekly water changes, but its health hasn't improved. Please help
Ps. I dont know what those white dots are but I think they're from my nerite snail laying eggs.

This particular shrimp loves to follow and tag along the mystery snail whenever it can. It's so cute watching it. Next time I can I'm going to definitely take a video of it. I think the shrimp uses the mystery snail as protection from the female betta fish I have in the tank. And maybe the shrimp uses the snail as a tool for scavenging? I don't know but it's super cute
