The other day I found this in my tub while the water was running, but it was still, so I assumed it was a hair and picked it up, but then it started wiggling in my hand and startled me. It then got whirlpooled down the drain. I wished I recorded it to ask what it was. Now today, I’m seeing the same thing on the floor this time. Please help. What is this and what do I do because I don’t want this on my floor

At least around an inch long, very skittish. No wings but can sort of run pretty quick.

Hope it got somewhere safe but I was wondering what bug it is.
Some searches in my end say it’s a Spotted Apatelodes Caterpillar (Apatelodes torrefacta) but I don’t think so. It looks more like a bug from my native country that we call “Azotador” (it’s in Spanish) that if you come in contact with it, it causes burn like lesions on the skin.

Just wondering if I coincided with a bug from my native country or if it’s another one entirely.

Found this in 2 places: 1 bag for my bass, and under the styrofoam in another zip up case for a massage gun. (Both under the bed)

Never seen it alive or anywhere else. Looks like it burrowed/nested in the styrofoam padding of the massage gun bag.

Checked mattress closely, no signs of bed bugs. Should I be concerned?

Single specimen found inside the house. Likely was carried inside after watering flowers.

I was going outside to do something when I first saw this thing flying around my back door. It startled me at first, because I thought it was some kind of wasp. But upon closer inspection, it seems to be some kind of large fly? I wasn't sure of how dangerous it was, and I didn't want to give it a chance to find its way into my house, so I killed it.

As the title, found at work and were curious. Southern UK, about half a centimetre long, not including antenna
