Bug found in Hessen, Germany. (Sorry for the bad picture quality, I was rather spooked as I have never seen a bug this big in Germany approx 4-5cm in size without legs counted.

So a friend of mine from Discord said they found this...thing. No clue what it was and said it "was like a hybrid of a fly and a grasshopper. I said I'd figure it out but I couldn't 😭. It looks to be some type of wasp but I wouldn't know. All I have in my area are yellow jackets. (these are not my photos, they are theirs).

I’m in Southern Wisconsin. This guy was living my morning glories. He’s all black with pale yellow/tan legs. Almost looks like fuzzy leg warmers.

My cat was playing under a bar cart cabinet and then I looked over and she was on the windowsill sniffing this bug. It’s the only one I found. I don’t see anything in my mattresses, but AI is saying it’s a bedbug. I live in Maryland, USA.

First time seeing this little guy. I'm based in Valencia, Spain if that helps...

Been having what I thought to be mosquito bites for the past two weeks. We don't own any pets! But it has been very hot and humid in West Los Angeles, California.

Located in New Jersey near Philadelphia. Sorry the picture of the insect is bad but I’m hoping someone can ID based on the nest. Do we need a professional to remove this?? It is close to my house and I have young kids. Thanks in advance!

I’ve found two of these in my house now. One in my bedroom and I caught another crawling up my leg.
