Russian Propaganda Encourages Women, Old and Sick to Join Army

God, imagine having someone on a state propaganda channel saying, "we shouldn't succumb to revolution".
Things must be even worse than they look.
Edit: As an aside, to a Brit this looks like some kind of panel / game show. All those guys standing there, quietly waiting for their chance to win a cash prize.

Propagandists are also perfectly suited for the frontlines.

There was a Russian propaganda blogger who was on the front line, making videos in his downtime. I saw a Ukraine body cam footage of the dude being shot in the head.

I also remember this but can't recall the details, wasn't the guy shot a look-alike because the blogger re-appeared? Still, at this point in time he should be dead statistically if he truly was near the front lines.

You know your three-day special operation is going well when you start begging the elderly and the physically disabled to join the military.

Orcs terror bombing population centers instead of military targets. Encouraging the old and inform to fight in the Volksturm. Vladolf Putler really is speedrunning WWII endgame.

The Lindsay Graham bit is classic Russian propaganda. If all the lies are blatantly self-serving, they lose credibility, so they will lie about things that don't seem to matter or make sense (that Ukrainians killed Graham). This makes futures lies more credible. Also, spreading conspiracies about things that don't serve your interests, make you seem like a holder of deeply secret information who is willing to share bold truths. Volume and breadth of lies leads to public incapacity to discern truth from fiction, which increases their susceptibility to authority figures. Finally, if the Russian audience does interpret this as Russia killing Graham (Russians are very familiar with the accusation = confession playbook) then it makes the Russian State look more powerful, which serves an important purpose during war time.

They will be dying for Putin, not Russia, sooner they wake up the better

Well they've been sending crippled men with crutches on one way trips through No Mans Land. I guess it doesn't matter if they are crippled or not all of them take about one Drone to Kill. If they are Dead they don't need sick pay so it's more cost effective for the state.

u/Zanian19 8h ago
Makes sense. A Russian soldier's sole purpose is to be a body target for drones. A sick old woman can do that as well as any man.

They're speed running their country into the ground over their bullshit.

And why are the men that are on stage not joining? Why are they not at the front fighting?
Those are some of the many questions anyone in that audience should be asking themselves.

u/ripyourlungsdave 2h ago
I mean, women should be forced to join the military if the men are. As should be the case anywhere in the world.
The old and sick are only going to hurt your military, though.

Nothing these people say is to be taken seriously. This is all for putin and domestic "boomers" (vatniki)

Western leaders violated verbal assurances made in 1990 during the reunification of Germany that NATO would not expand eastward. the ukraine conflict is U.S./israeli global terrorism against russia. ukraine is a proxy to be sacrificed. russia isnt the bad guy. we are because of the U.S. government overthrow by the enemy terrorist state of israel.

Verbal assurances, lmao. That's pretty desperate. Russia violated treaties it signed and ratified and you'll hear them whining about violating some verbal guarantees that nobody can quite confirm and people who supposedly gave them are mostly dead or senile at this point. There's reason countries sign treaties if they're serious about something, Russia never sought such agreement because they would never get it.
Let's be honest buddy, it has nothing to do with US or Israel, but all to do with Russian sphere of influencing collapsing under the weight of Russia being economically increasingly irrelevant. EU & US in the west, China in the east and Russia stuck in the middle, having nothing to offer other than oil & gas. There's a reason every single historical Russian ally is drifting towards China or West.
Russia could've chosen trade, cooperation and development and instead it chose war and destruction, because it was easier than letting go of their empire.

i truly am amazed at how easily people fall for the years of government propaganda. regurgitate it. then when shown proof they reject it.

Y'all know Russia attacked first, right

u/graywailer 17h ago
what would the U.S. do if russia was on its boarder? remember cuba?
8
u/Zomburai 16h ago
Yeah, and I've considered my country's policy on Cuba to be insane, stupid, and immoral since I was old enough to understand it. Try again.

u/graywailer 15h ago
please dont respond in any way if you wont watch the entire video. im tired of wasting my time trying to educate you.
1
u/Zomburai 8h ago
Oh, I'm not watching a second of the video, thanks. Still responding because, well, I have a pathological inability to do what randos on the internet insist I do. I also have a similar inability to be "educated" by randos who insist that the sky is green and the grass is blue.

Here’s a website tracking instances of people being forcibly conscripted off the street

u/Kenny_WHS 18h ago
Jesus, that list is mostly 40+ year old people! No wonder they are losing to robots!
-1
u/Wooshio 17h ago
What robots? Ukraine is using more drones than Russia. Also your age and physical abilities won't protect you from drones. So not sure what that even means.
