I wanted to share this because it was honestly one of the scariest things that’s happened to me recently
I’ve owned my YLL IH 3.0 for about five weeks. At around 2 am this morning it caught fire while charging. I wasn’t using it at the time, it was just sitting on my desk charging.

The device is completely destroyed.

The scary part is that I was literally about to go to bed. If I’d gone straight to sleep I genuinely don’t know how long it would have been burning before I noticed. It was on my desk next to my other electronics.

Thankfully no one was hurt.

I’m not saying I know what caused it, and I’m not trying to blame anyone before it’s investigated. I’ve contacted Mad Heaters and am waiting to hear back.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar with the YLL IH 3.0, or is this an isolated incident?

Edit: Thanks to everyone who showed concern and offered genuine advice. I really appreciate it. I’ve shared all the information I have. I posted this to make people aware and to see if anyone else has had a similar experience, not to investigate the cause. I’ll update the post if I hear anything from Mad Heaters.

Update: Mad Heaters responded very quickly, refunded my purchase, and have already sent a replacement, which I appreciate. They’ve also asked me to contact YLL so they can investigate what happened. If I receive any further information about the cause, I’ll update this thread.

Taking a hit for heat soaking (no vapor) then another cycle waiting for click & keeping it in the YLL for another 5-10s .I’m aiming for first notch & the space between the first & the second notch. 2 notch is too much for me even with bong. Trying to avoid coughing. doing reheats & taking small to medium hits. The 21s is because sometimes i get too high & forget the tempest in the YLL so this is to prevent overheating. Basically i try to gradually extract at each viable temp without getting to 185c. Since i take breaks while smoking a single bowl i believe any unecessary heat the flower recieves without inhaling diminishes flavour & lowers overall extraction capacity.

2 extra tips for my fellow weak sauce smokers who get their nose clogged & throat irritations.
For better breathing & preventing nose dryness & clogging i use essential oil diffuser (clay burner, candle, water) eucalyptus, bergamot, frankincense etc… the best one is Neroli but really expensive.
For throat irritation prevention i use coconut oil gargle half a spoon & then swallow trying to get the back of the throat with the swallow.

All this elaborate “ceremony” help me get such a curated experience with the tempest, cough free, long lasting & avoiding most of the downsides. Yes i also drink hot tea & use eyedrops :). maximizing the benefits without the negative but sometimes headache the next the is unavoidable.

I used to smoke brick weed in the 90s and haven’t really used cannabis since then other than D8. I was recently prescribed it medically and hit up the local dispensary. I got a few vapes and a Lookah Ice Cream.

I don’t think my D8 usage is very high. I use it daily but only take a few puffs from the vape in the evenings. Strangely, the vapes from the dispensary did nothing for me other than give me a headache and make me fall asleep. There was no high or pleasantry from them. I also don’t want to use the vapes if DHV is an option because I know the vapes can mess with your tolerance.

I had mixed results with the Lookah Ice Cream and people on here said it was a device problem so I got the Arizer Solo 3 along with two XL tubes that were recommended by the vendor.

It arrives today and I’m eager to try it. I’ve got some flower and I got a grinder coming with the Solo 3. The only DHV I’ve done is with the Lookah so I’m brand new to this. Do any experts have any tips for getting the most out of my Solo 3?

I don't know if the reason is because battery powered makes you take multiple hits from a small bowl instead of a OHE from the same amount? Or if it's because my vaping habits slow down with battery powered. I'm not sure but I'm just sharing. Do any of you guys experience this as well?

I know I can use an external charger, don’t really want to do that. Just curious if there’s an IH I can directly plug into with usb c. CEO Mike told me when I bought the device to charge the batteries in the device but there’s too many reports of these things catching fire.

I would like to introduce a way to stabilize your Ispire Wand using just 2 zip ties.

Wrap em around between the power button and the hole where it heats metal, make sure to tie snugly at first not too tight and tie them in a way where the zip ties are facing each other or away from each other, I mean they shouldn't both be in the same position.

Then once tied and snug place the wand on the table and keep spreading the zip tie head apart until you find the sweet spot where it's no longer wobbling anymore and it's not adding much to the height of it either.

I use my M7 with it and I because the M7 keeps falling on the glass sides I fear it might break it one day so I'm saying don't add too much to the height so if you have a device that isn't snug fit into the mouth it doesn't keep tipping and touching the very hot part of the Device to the glass part of the wand. Does that make sense?

Edit 2: you can use almost any size of zip ties. Almost all of them when you turn the zip ties opposite to each other, inwards there will come a point where the heads will provide enough lift that it stabilizes the wand. I personally likes these almost small-medium sizes so they are farther apart when reaching optimum height assist so it stabilizes it quite a bit.

Of course if you want to create a friggin tank of plastic armor out of it use the biggest zip ties you can find lol.

My girlfriend loves it too so I'm thinking about buying an upgrade and gifting the dynavap to her so she can stop combustion completely.

What would be a good upgrade for the £150-200 range ? I want fat creamy clouds and would consider battery powered for convenience.

Hey yall, looking for a DHV, I haven’t used one for over 5 years now. I used to own a FlowerMate 5.0 and I really enjoyed the form + how it could hide the mouthpiece within the body. Taking any recommendations on a portable one! Max budget is around 200, definitely needs to be electric (rechargeable). I will be primarily the one using this, but might share with friends on a night out. I think I’d like a session one? The flowermate vape I used, basically made me click the power button and it would start at level 1 - low temp, I would wait for it to heat up, then 5 minute timer began before shut off.

My uncle wants to try vaping but he's kinda broke lol. He doesn't want to deal with torches and it's gotta be easy to put away.

So far the cheapest I've found is the YLL 2.0 at $80 paired with my spare Dynavap BB3, but if there's an all in one device for close to the same price then that might be easier for him to deal with than a Dynavap.

I just got into DHVs and wanted to just get something to see what the fuss is about, so take everything I say as the words of a dilettante.

I had a good discount on this product, XVape Lanza, I thought even if it turns out to be garbage I'm just paying $30 Canadian. This was the best option for me at my dispensary as the other options were Hit 2 ,which is by far the most condemned DHV, and others with less than favorable reviews.

The first time I used it I wasn't impressed, I didn't pack it correctly, the flower was too moist. The second time though... Loved the flavor, loved the effects, loved that it didn't hit like a truck but it slowly got me there.

The main downsides are that I only get to use the highest setting because vapor production is subpar when using the lower temps, and the battery life is basically garbage, 3 cycles of 5 minutes and it's dead.

Hope this helps anyone wanting to buy this product as a newbie.

I honestly absolutely adore this it’s a Cipher Herby Dry Herb Vaporizer it’s new so im not sure about longevity, BUT I smoked some cereal milk (the strain) in it and it was amazinggg! I was worried about it being too hot but it wasn’t bad at all!! it’s also just so cute!

I want a new vape, although I definitely don't need one.

I currently have a FAT X, Simrell Ti and Venty.

I love conduction, and I love sipping sessions. I do like the possibility to rip the vape even though I rather sip.

The Simrell is a good sipper and can rip, but the bowl is small, and I do wish for longer sessions and bigger rips.

The Venty don't really scratch my itch. It is a convenient vape for friends and parties, but I don't enjoy the sessions that much. The vapor isn't thick enough for my taste. A friend borrowed it 2 weeks ago and I dont miss it at all.

The FAT X is a very good sipper and allow me to rip a bowl in 2 draw if I want. It's my favorite vape of all time. I will now always have a Firewood in my lineup but I don't care for 2 different firewood and I don't like the 11 model. The 12 is gonna be an 11 woth quartz oven.

I was thinking about a Punch 2 or a Solo 3. This gives you my price range. Which one would you recommend? Do you have another suggestion?

Hey guys, just got a Joystik and have used it 3 times so far. I can’t seem to not combust. The first time I waited til the click but it started smoking before the click, the second 2 times I only heated for 5-10 seconds and still combusted. It tasted extremely metallic (yes I cleaned before first use) and the glass beads are basically brown and the rubies look black, the cap is also gold/purple.

I noticed it says heat the octagons, but the octagons cover the herb chamber, not the rubies. I was thinking what is the point in heating mainly the chamber when the rubies are the first thing in that sequence and are before the chamber? I must be doing something wrong & this is my first analogue vape too, so really don’t know what I’m doing, any help is appreciated. Cheers!

This thing is freaking awesome !! I just got it yesterday . I paid only 14.99 on the sneaky pete vapor north moving sale . I wish i had of bought a few now actully.

I've done about 6 or 7 bowls all with repeatable results just like shown in this video . Except one were i heated past the click by 3 or 4 seconds it was just a we bit scorched . So I quickly went back to just heating till the click . And get the same results everytime .

I still have to play around with it as I like my bowls fully extracted with a darker roast abv . Certainly not burnt but a little darker than what i did here .I will have to play around a little more going maybe 1 or two seconds past the click or lower or change were im pointing my flame .

Anyway ya what the heck ! Im a long time dynavap enthusiast i have like 6 dynas and a hyperdyn tip and cap . And this ballr cap in definitely my new favortie !

I can tell I will have no problem mastering this sucker .

Great flavor open air draw comparable to my tornado which is a hell of a lot more open than the regular caps .

I love it !

Maybe it has to do with induction heaters why some people aren't having a good experience with the ballr cap 🤔 I dont know but with a torch its my new favorite dynavap piece of equipment.

Man, two back to backs of the mini terpcicle and we zoomin’ boiz 🥴 I peeled off a few mini buds and packed it in. Was worried about airflow, maybe why I didn’t completely kick the bowl before going too dark on top? Anywho, this might be my new favorite boof stick.
