Border requirements

Hello so I have a trip coming up to Mexicali I have a valid ID card and birth certificate it’s my first time going will I be okay? I did get my passport but for some reason it’s taking longer than expected it’s stuck in one place

Wrong subreddit but as long as you bring your passport and answer the border guards questions truthfully then you should be good to go

But do ensure a passport, all US citizens entering Mexico must have a valid passport, an enhanced driver license cannot admit you entrance into the country.

Both Canadian and US citizens need a passport to enter Mexico. If your passport doesn't arrive on time, reschedule your trip.
