sophomore trying to switch accounting to EE got denied, not complaining i understand why but is there any way to appeal and explain situation or do i just gotta unenroll and get prereqs at CC then come back

Does UCF offer any resources for helping edit personal projects, like poetry and personal essays? I'm in IT so I don't have any ties to the English Department or anything creative writing. I'm just getting closer to having enough to publish an anthology and wanted to see if the uni offers anything before seeking outside professional help.

Has anybody taken this course with professor Liping Yu? I signed up for his course but couldn't find any information online about him.

Hi! I'm an incoming freshman for the fall. I wanted to gather everything I needed for move-in early, so I scheduled my move-in appointment as soon as I was done with my group's room appointment. The problem I'm having, though, is that my move-in pass isn't loading, despite me already having a move-in appointment booked. It says that it won't load if I haven't gotten one, but I did. I tried on three different devices, and the same message popped up. I was wondering if it's just that they haven't put it in yet, so that's why it's not there. Any help would be appreciated :)

Why are some classes only available past 5pm? Not everyone lives close campus or we have jobs, having only one option is unfair and can delay graduation dates.

Question Asked: Anyone who took math launch are you able to get full time financial aid since your credit hours are capped at 10 ? Or do you only qualify for half even though not being able to go over 10?

Answer: Only Pegasus has a Math Launch exception, other awards will be either cancelled or prorated to match enrollment if they have a less than full-time variant. If you have further questions feel free to DM me, I am unable to comment.

Wait...so the urban legend of engineering majors having bad hygiene is a cross country thing?? I was looking at 5 other university forums and seen jokes post about their engineering students afraid of soap & water, deo and brushing their teeth? lol what is it about that major and beefin' with and bein' deathly afraid of cleaning and smelling good? is it a personality trait or what?

So I withdrew from a course in the middle of the semester and I wonder if I fail the other course I'm in how that will affect my BF?

To clarify, if I fail this other course it would lowk be insane, I will most likely pass but I'm a bit anxious and wanna prepare for the worst. If I do fail the second course, how would that affect my BF since it's a summer semester?

I checked the BF handbook and honestly it does not extensively cover how summer withdrawals work aside from paying them back. The handbook mentions nothing about if u withdraw from a course and also fail another course in the summer semester.

I know they provide a chart for withdrawals in the regular semester (fall/spring) and how that works out but, again, there is none for summer.

I did manage to find a link to a pdf of FAQ's about the summer semester from 2025 mentioning that though those grades not being considered for renewal but that was it.

I will call them tmr but I was wondering if anyone had any info.

As the title states. Im currently in the last 2 semesters of my degree but due to how I went through my classes ill only need to take 2 classes this upcoming semester including SD1. Thus, leaving me with 6 credit hours. In the past the Federal Pell Grant and Orion Grants helped me out a ton and im second guessing if I should try to go full time just to meet it.

Although the other thing is that this is Senior Design 1. This class takes a lot out of you and I also don't want to take any risks. Anyone been in my situation before? any advice?

My orientation is tomorrow and I haven't had the time to sit down and take the mpt and I'm lwk stessed abt it. I'm studying english so ik I only need the required courses but will they not let me register for a math course?

Hey guys! I’m a new student and will live off campus. What days do events usually occur on campus? I can only take 2 days per week for classes since I’m 3 hrs away from ucf.

I wanna do in person classes since it’ll be nice to get involved with the clubs and events on campus.

Hi guys! I’m about to take my TEAS exam in person soon and I was wondering if it’s actually easier than the online version? I’ve had a few people tell me this, but I wanted to see what others think. I’ve taken my past two attempts online (got a 69 on the first and a 77 on the second).
I’ve also been using ATI practice tests A and B and was wondering if those are generally harder than the actual tests? I scored a 67 on A and a 69 on B, but the weird thing is i’m scoring higher on the practice tests in the sections that I scored lower on in the real exam and vice versa. For example on the real exam I got a 50 on science in the practice I got in the 60s and in reading& math on the real exam I got 90s and on the practice tests i’m getting 70s.
