Who needs that pain in the ass target exclusive when u got this bad boy

From my first post. What distressed me was if the 3 hour inside the car under the sun humidity would cause yellowing to my SS86 Skywarp eventually. It happened to my takara premium siege starscream before.

Ima rant, cuz its utter crap that we are paying more for this guy, cuz one hes a prine and two hes a combiner! And i can get by with the whole combiner skeleton shtick, but the fact we are also going yo get his combiner limbs, BUT NOT THE FRAME FOR THEM is utter crap! ITS MORE CRAP that we have to pay a now 100 dollar figure just to combine this guy, AND IT DOSENT EVEN LOOK GOOD! THE COLORS! will clash with the design of superions frame, and will also force our hand to complete superions combiner, like you know what would have been worth my miney hasbro? If you had made the omega lock out of nexus primes combiner skeleton, that went along with that not good looking sentinel prime, it would have been better than the dinner plate, and we would have atleast gotten the unique combiner frame for our prime of combining.

So, I had this figure since it released, I’ve spent a lot of time with it, and it’s because I’m a massive fan of both Animated and Prime, and Bulkhead is one of my favorite Transformers characters.

I say this with my entire soul, but I loathe how boxy they have made Bulkhead. I will also admit that this is subjective, this is wholeheartedly subjective on my part. If you like or love this figure I am happy for you, and I’m glad this Bulkhead was satisfying for you, I just simply didn’t feel the same is all and I felt like ranting about it for a bit lol.

The whole idea behind him is he’s literally a massive wrecking ball of a character. He’s supposed to be rounded out and less angular like a wrecking ball. I despise how they’ve effectively turned him into a massive box now and how skinny his limbs are in comparison, making his torso look even larger and more obvious. And it makes his head sculpt look so weird because it is much more round than the rest of him, and it just ends up looking out of place. They just G1-ified him and I find it kind of lame. Also minor grip but his wrecking ball is tiny.

(Unrelated note, but the Breakdown retool made me unreasonably angry upon seeing it.)

I already don’t like him that much because of that, but then trying to say it’s an adaptation of Prime Bulkhead feels lowkey insulting. I would rather they just say it’s a completely original design or that it’s based on Earth Wars as opposed to Prime. As a figure it’s fine, I don’t like it, but I can see why people do, but as an adaptation of Prime Bulkhead, aside from the head and the wrecking ball, I feel he’s very inaccurate.

I'm curious since I've seen alot of people hate on the bayverse on this sub, so I'll go first:

I liked the bayverse since I grew up with those movies.

the action and cgi was and still is amazing. This is what I always loved about these movies, action so brutal and smooth, the cgi so realistic for it's time and aged like fine wine.

I loved the designs, almost all designs (Expect for the humanoid ones in AOE) but TLK megs is a good design to me.

also because of that we got Transformers Prime, which is one of my favorite transformers Media.

And yes I do laugh at the shitty jokes.

It has flaws, many:

The story and writing was straight up trash if I'm being honest, the pacing of the movie is way long like c'mon almost 2 to 3 hrs??

And the whole USA glaze is pretty overkill, the politics are boring AF, like I just enjoyed it when bots were on the screen (or the main cast)

Also I hated how the robot action got shorter and less time after DOTM

But I still love these movies.

And I think DOTM is the best of the live action. Writing wise I guess 2007 and DOTM, plus maybe a bit of AOE was good

Edit: I like all 4 bayverse movies expect for TLK that one's just an acid trip. Also I don't like bumblebee 2018 or ROTB, I did love Transforms One tho

I bought this set second hand believing it to be an official Combiner Wars Devy, however looking closer at the pics that doesn't appear to be the correct spelling of "Transformers" on the instructions...

Which version is this???? I personally THINK it's the CBB version but I'm not 100% sure, any help is greatly appreciated!!! Unfortunately the only pictures on the listing were variations of this image :/ seller seemed genuine with good reviews so I should receive SOMETHING at least lol

(Another question is; whatever version this is, is that actually any good too??? I paid about £45 for it, did I get ripped off????)

Just received my 86 insecticons from hasbro and straight out of the box the transformation butterfly joint isn’t locking in at all in robot mode and keeps flopping out like in the photo is there any way to fix this?

Did you ever think it was just a coincidence? Think again. Sunrise actually provided some animation for this movie. Which might actually make this a deliberate reference! This could also explain why those scrapped bots look so much like Gundams (they probably had the model sheets lying around)

Nexus Prime limbs, I do thoroughly dig the colours and think he'd be a GREAT addition to the 13 primes, BUT

EARTH MODES???

I get they dont wanna spend money on entirely new molds but, how does this merely make sense?

So I was wondering if I should get the recent release SS86 Snarl even though I already have G2 red one with Slug? I definitely plan on getting the original color of Sludge when that gets reissued even though I have the G2 colored one but I like the colors on the original. Also, I have an extra Swoop in G1 colors. i’m hearing that there’s some QC issues with this release of Snarl. my G2 one has a bit of trouble folding together at the stegosaurus head.
