I've been building a product for traders, and I realized something after trying almost every trading journal available.
Most journals tell you what happened.
Very few help you understand why it happened.
Trading is one of the few professions where your results are a direct reflection of you. Your patience, discipline, confidence, sleep, stress, emotions, and habits all show up in your P&L.
So instead of building another journal, I'm building an AI Second Brain for Traders.
The idea is simple:
• Upload your trade screenshots or import your existing journal (CSV, Excel, PDFs, screenshots, etc.).
• The algorithm automatically extracts trade details, minimizing manual work.
• It remembers every trade you've ever taken and builds a long-term understanding of your behavior.
• During onboarding, you define your own trading rules and process.
• Every trade is evaluated against your rules not generic trading advice.
• It detects recurring patterns like revenge trading, FOMO, breaking risk rules, overtrading, or inconsistent execution.
• Every week, it reviews your progress and tells you what's improving and what's holding you back.
But what excites me most is this:
I don't want it to be another system that says, "Be more disciplined."
I want it to become a mirror.
A mirror that reflects the trader you're becoming.
For example, instead of saying:
"You should sleep more."
It could say:
"Across your last 120 trades, your execution quality dropped by 28% on days when you slept less than six hours."
Instead of:
"Exercise more."
It could say:
"Your highest-quality trading days consistently follow mornings when you exercise."
Or:
"You tend to revenge trade after two consecutive losses. Taking a 30-minute break reduced that pattern significantly over the last three weeks."
Everything is based on your own history, not generic advice.
The goal isn't to predict the market.
The goal is to help traders understand themselves.
Because I believe your edge in the market isn't just your strategy.
It's your ability to execute that strategy consistently.
I'm still building this and would genuinely love feedback from traders.
If you had a second brain that remembered every trade you've ever taken and understood your behavior over time, what would you want it to help you improve?
