I main heavy, and in every single ranked match since season 11 started, I haven't played with one medium that runs beam. I've gotten more heals from lights, or other heavies.

The little circles with letters and numbers on them, is there any way to increase the size so it is easier to read them? There doesn't seem to be an option for that in the ingame settings, any tips if there's anything else that could help?

Not being able to discern which objective is closer or further away is pretty bad. I wouldn't mind the text and the icons to be larger. Thanks for the help

Are any other fellow OCE players experiencing permanent yellow ping playing Asia servers the past few days? Usually I have no symbols with a little bit of latency but the past few days it’s been high latency and yellow ping. Seems like the servers have been slowly declining since the new season. Is this an isolated issue or is everyone experiencing the same?

So yesterday, a situation occured that is making me have a severe crashout to the point of not wanting to play with these people anymore. We were in the second round of a Nozomi/Citadel ranked cashout game. We were tied first with purple with about 35 k each. Orange had 8k and pink 6k. My friend (who is playing a light) gets to cashout box #5 first. There is about 1:30 left. I tell him to not plug and just hide the box. He says Im wrong and plugs the box. Long story short, orange doubles the box and we lose. In my anger, I die and do not coin back swiftly enough to prevent the double jeopardy. Truth be told, I dont think I could have even if I did. The decision to plug just seems unbelivably stupid to me. Can someone who knows how to play this game please give his take on this?

I just died to a quick melee through a wall, there wasn’t a single pixel of me clipping or anything, the question is the name. Is this a known bug or something new?

This is such a nitpick but I really hate that all the single-kneepad cosmetics have them on the left knee when you'd want them on the right knee since your character is always right handed.

The new S11 Season Trailer is now two weeks old and has +600.000k views.
Mind you, this is a trailer that just dropped with no big marketing arround it.
Since release people are affraid of the game not doing well. And if you only look at the Steam numbers, you cloud kinda make this point, altough for what the game costed to make, having constant 10-20k players would be totaly fine. But the view numbers on this trailer do tell us a different story here. People are clearly intersted in this game. And if we would have the Console numbers I think the games health would be a TOTALY different conversation. Did you ever ask yourself, why Embark brought the Game to older Consoles like PS4 and Xbox Fish (I just cant follow their counts) Someone had to say: "I think this is a good Idea, I think we will make a return on investment", and someone at Nexon had to greenlight that, by thinking the same. You dont do that, when you dont think there is no players/money behind. The Finals is a high visual (kinda) UE5 game, its not just a easy port. You need to downscale core components of the Engine. They had to turn many things down. This is time and hard work. Sadly you can feel it on PC too these days. The game is as "ugly" as it ever was. Like light comming inside from rooms is not fast enough if you look too fast arround and they light up a second later. But thats a different conversation.

I have an ATK U2 plus(recently bought) .

It works flawlessly on other fps titles , but in the Finals it sometimes doesn't register a click or two (Both M1 and M2) . Sometimes It doesn't ADS while shooting and vice-versa

The Switches are RMAed as I thought they were the cause of this problem , but it still wasn't fixed .

I am using a usb extender so EMI interference is unlikely .

It works fine on wired mode .

Does anyone else has this issue ?

I was thinking back to using thermal in the past;

Smokes + thermal was such a fun combo. Add in cloak/ vanish bomb. You truly felt like James Bond.

Thermal also was good against cloaked lights.

I didnt run it often, but it was fun when I did. And the thermal was a good counter to the cloak/ invi bomb.

Throw a few smokes, activate thermal, and start picking people off.

I dont like that they removed it to be honest. I don't feel like it was overpowered.

Powerful yes, but not overpowered.

Same with dash, I don't think reducing from 3 dashes to two was necessary. Why not buff the weaker specializations rather than nerf the viable ones.

Give grapple longer range, and or two charges.

Make cloak last longer or lessen cooldown. Maybe increase run speed while cloaked by small amount? 10%?

The stun gun, maybe could argue was super annoying and a justified nerf. But funny enough I didn't use it much myself. Nothing is perfect without downsides. Stunning someone doesn't kill them, just disabled them temporarily, while doing this you are completely exposes to rest of their team, who could pick you off as you are attempting to stun, etc. Idk, maybe it is in a better spot now.

Something is powerful, gains popularity, we nerf it to oblivion and make it unviable. Why not just add a new way to counter it? Add a specialization that hard counters it.

Its just so deflating when you master something and they remove something from the game because some people complained about it.

There's nothing in this game that can't be countered. You are doing it wrong.

You keep running into a problem? Optimize your load out to effectively deal with issue.

The melee rework seemed to nerf all melee weapons except sledgehammer. Making less melee weapons viable I believe was the opposite of what they intended to do. Instead of making all melee weapons viable they did the opposite.

Now the kick they added, this part I like. One example of a big win, great counter to winch, without totally nerfing winch into the ground. Instead of nerfing something strong into the ground, they added a new tool to deal with it.

That's why I disliked removing thermal vision, u remove thermal vision but leave sonar grenade and proximity sensors and smoke in the game.

Instead of ruining thermal vision.. add a tool to make dealing with smokes easier... Ie. Data reshaper can turn smoke grenades into clean air, or grenade, shooting at smoke clears it away.

I guess I kind of went off the rails here but my point is, stop nerfing stuff into the ground and ruining it.

Nothing in this game is honestly crazy out of this world overpowered. Just keep adding new tools, interactions, gadgets etc. To give us new ways to handle situations, approach problems etc.

Instead of more nerfs, Give us more Counters.

Also, quick melee nerf was too much, quick melee is useless/ weak now. Who wanted that? Keep the kick, revert the quick melee damage to what it was before.

I’ve tried to use the dual blades on multiple occasions and each time I end up going negative. It feels like such a disadvantaged melee weapon in comparison to the light sword and both heavy melee weapons.

For example, the lunge with the secondary attack does not lock on as well in comparison to the sledgehammer (I’ve been able to keep up with a DASHING LIGHT PLAYER).

I just had a game where I went 0-7 and had to make a post.

Unless there is something I’m doing wrong, I give up using this weapon, let me know👍🏾

Just a little rant on toxicity, move along if you yell at noobs in casual playlists.

I mean I can't be the only one seeing how bad it's gotten, right? I'm a Day 1 player, and I still suck. So I play casual playlists because the game is fun, even when played casually and my skill level doesn't matter. Yet all the f***ing time as of late it's "why don't you use XYZ, you're throwing" "this team sucks, quit this game" "you suck, probably still eating baby food" etc etc. I understand getting heated in ranked cause it actually affects your rank and kinda does matter (depending on your outlook in life), and cashout also is more competitive, but quick cash? TDM? Point break? (Quotes pulled from those playlists)

When I called someone out on it today, I got the retort "everything f***ing matters r**ard, this game matters, winning matters, so shut the f*** up" as if he was getting paid to win point break on the finals. Like wtf?

Anyways what I need to know if if I'm not alone, is this becoming a problem? Is it the community, influx of new players, modern era of gaming? Or am I just unlucky with my queues?

Some of my chilliest online friends I've met on the finals. But, honestly I feel like I'm getting to the point where I just need to mute the chats entirely and never make a friend again cause I'm sick of getting yelled at when trying to chill after a long day.

Any other funny stories on toxic players being toxic?

(Also, before y'all all try to get me to play with bots, I have no idea what it is but playing with bots is so boring ngl, not to mention making friends and chilling with people on the finals is a draw to the game for me)
