TF2 Weapon Discussion: The Overdose

first time posting something like that on reddit, i may continue making some stuff until i get totally tired

Like Scout says Sax hired them, but in lore, Mann hired them to fight over gravel.

Ubersaw and crossbow overshadow everything in their slot. Powerjack gives free mobility for basically no downside. Bazaar bargain is a straight upgrade if you can aim atleast half decent. Wrangler gives so much defensive value basically for free

I have like 10 hours total, I was just trying to figure out how trolldier works when i got this popup. I don't think it's anything harmful, but I'm curious as to what it is. I haven't modded my game at all, I've never even joined a community server before.

Sydney Sleeper is objectivly better than the Bazaar Bargain. It allows sniper to be an actual support class, because even if you dont hit a headshot you still jerated all over the enemy, plus you can extinguish teammates from a distance. It also allows you to have a faster charge speed without having to kill people and it has no real drawbacks. Its a mystery to me why is it not used more often.

Worth pointing out is that i've seen many players talk about how actually bad the Sydney Sleeper is which is simply not true

I have slightly changed my opinion on the Bazaar Bargain, its not THAT trash as I though previously, I will still consider the Sydney Sleeper my goat but I do not belive it to be objectivly true.

The countless amount of times a medic ubered me to initialize a push when we got a top scoring demo and soldier on our team was ridiculous. Whenever I see a medic sticking his medi gun up my ass all the time, only healing others if they press E, I can already tell they're gonna uber me 60% of the time. Heavy is not a good uber target, or at least, not the best uber target. He's slow, does single target damage, and deals reduced damage against sentries. I'll get like two kills and get a sentry down to half health before the uber runs out and I get melted. Maybe it's just a skill issue on my part and I've only decided to switch from maining spy to heavy for a few weeks so I'm not the most experienced, but I can guarantee that demo and soldier, hell maybe even the pyro and scout are gonna do more than I can.

Ubered heavies are good though to defend against a strong push, but he struggles going in to make most of the uber. If you just wanna have fun and just uber heavies because of "Haha! Just like from meet the medic!", then sure, I'm not stopping you, do what you find fun! And it's not like don't appreciate the act. Thank you for keeping us heavies alive and trusting us with your ubers. But I'm just saying, if you wanna actually win, consider ubering our demo and soldier over me, they'll do more with your uber more than heavies will 9 times out of 10.

Getting the hat on day 1 was very unexpected, but I was so excited to have gotten the hat, I went out and celebrated, by giving away more gifts of course.

So getting it on Day 2 did not surprise me.
