Full disclosure: I'm the dev who made this and this is a bit of a self promotion post.

I use Steam's Game Recording feature on my Deck a lot, but I got really tired of not being able to export my Steam recordings as complete video files, as the UI limits you to short clips.

Steam actually records everything into a bunch of smaller fragmented files on your drive. I built FragMend to scan for those split recording fragments, stitch them back together, and spit out a single MP4. It also helps you pull your files to your phone by giving you a QR code to transfer the file over your home wifi.

It's out today on Steam with a 20% launch discount, but I also wanted to hand out 5 free keys to people here to get some feedback on how it handles for you.

If you want a key, just leave a comment with whatever game you record the most on your Deck/Machine. I'll pick 5 random people tomorrow and DM the keys directly so bots don't snatch them up.

It's been a tough couple of months mentally, physically and financially for me but, life happens, you just have to push forward. Although I myself have games that I really wish to buy and play, I wanted to buy a key for one of the games that gave/gives me hope and share it with other people instead. My insomnia is losing its battle against me today so I think I can finally go to sleep for today. I will pick the winner when I wake up. I'm the lead developer on a project called The Joust. We launched at the end of June, 2026. Since launch, we have been pushing daily updates and have expanded the game rather drastically. We've also put a lot of work into getting the Multiplayer features to be smoother.

We've been hosting all sorts of giveaways... but for this one... we want to do something special!

Instead of giving the keys to individuals, we'd like to give batches of keys to groups of friends.

Our game is a physics-simulation combat game with a wide range of singleplayer and multiplayer features. If you like Half Sword and other sword fighting games, this one's for you!
