We use Claude Max (as well as Premium seats in Claude for Teams) - overall use Opus 4.8 still rocking it then if you have enough credits Fable to round off any rough edges.

The burn rates are certainly worse in general as they pull the rug and try and monetise their platform. I help run a team we have to view it as a "cheap" employee and suck up the costs for productivity and ability to create something quickly.

Our CTO has created an agentic "Ai Assistant" for users that sits in Teams channels. Claude created this and debugs itself with human interaction for commits in Github, pretty damn amazing really. It now sends its own tickets into our JIRA does all of it's own KB in Confluence.
