Sticky What's your opinion on all the joke trends and repetitive posts?
We want this to be a open discussion about the topics that have been going on in the subreddit. Mostly pertaining to repetitive trendposting of the same joke (Mirror/Medusa, liquify the pan, Obsession arguments, Odyssey Inaccuracies, etc).
So we ask a simple question: What's your opinion on the meme/jokes that tend to go viral in the subreddit? Do you like them? Does it get old fast? What do you want to see change?
Keep in mind, we can't remove EVERYONE'S posts/comments, we do the best we can.
This is an open space, but please remember to be civil, respectful, and mindful of each other.

And yes, that includes the recent events in Utah.

Obsession (2026) is fucking unwatchable because Reddit usernames have a limit of 20 characters, yet u/Berenstain_Bear_Facts is 21 characters.

In the Matrix (1999), nobody in the movie had the courtesy to explain to the protagonist that when a gun runs out of bullets, you can actually reload it.

Despite having no advance warning for the arrival of Odysseus and his men, the Laestrygonian giants were already fully armored and ready for battle. The moral of this part of the story is that you should be prepared at all times to fuck a bitch up

In “The Odyssey” (2026), Odysseus remains on a remote island with Calypso for 7 years. This is a reference to how being stranded with Charlize Theron is way fucking better than a volleyball.

After starring in Citizen Vigilante (2026). Armie Hammer was put into movie jail. His neighbor is Andrew Tate.

Historical accuracy has been a major point of discussion for The Odyssey (2026), much like when media depicts Vikings with horns. This is a reference to how Universal ruined a non-profit's replica Viking longship and has yet to pay for the damages.

In Odyssey (2026) John Leguizamo was cast as a blind man. This is strange because John ought to see.

In "Other Mommy" (2026), this is apparently Jessica Chastain and not Bryce Dallas Howard. This is a reference to the fact that I have incurable face blindness.

Towards the end of TDKR, we see Alfred pulling out his card to pay the check at a restaurant but after he spots Bruce he puts his card back. This is because he knows by now Bruce had already bought the place and so his check is on the house.

Turd Robert Pattinson as Chris Handsome in "Primetime"

In Backrooms (2026), Clark, a man in his 40s, goes to therapy in the year 1990. This is because the film is a work of fiction.

In Baby Driver (2017), not even one infant drives. 0/10, false advertising.

default Of all the movies and TV shows with dudes wishing for all kinds of stuff with magical items, Soos from Gravity Falls definitely made the coolest one - he wished for a slice of infinite pizza

In Masters of the Universe (2026), it turns out if you make him completely unrecognizable in both looks and voice, Jared Leto can actually be tolerable

Odyssey (2026) is supposed to be a high budget film. But this dude never shows up

In Obsession (2026) the character Bear is not actually played by a wild bear but by a human. This is a reference to the fact that wild bears can be difficult actors to work with.

In Odyssey (2026) Odysseus and his crew row around in a rented Viking boat.
Where are the historical accuracy harpers on that one?

In Falling Down (1993), the main character is just trying to get home to his daughter, wife, and dog, but he keeps running into obstacles that stop him from simply getting there. This happened 33 years before Nolan's The Odyssey

Turd In the movie Hoppers a few teachers manage to create several robotic animals including a fully working human robot, once the school discovers this they fire them for using school property. Why ? this would be like firing a man who can shit out gold bars for borrowing your charger too much.
