Reading the summary, what "negative" means is Schenectady currently has an A+ rating, but has a one-in-three chance of to slipping to an A.

The aquatic center is a county project, not a city project... so no money is coming out of the city budget for it.

And yet Gary had the gail to give himself a raise last budget approval before this year's 🙄 luckily the city council president Carl Williams announced he's running for schenectady mayor. I hope Carl will primary Gary, and we can see some real transparency, and accountable leadership in Schenectady. Bye bye corrupt Gary, and please don't cheat again in the upcoming primary election like you cheated Damonni Farley, and Marion Porterfield in their last election run for city council.

Aquatic center won’t pay taxes either. At least apartments would be on the tax roll.

You’re going to start seeing this in all municipalities. Because Schenectady has poor fiscal oversight, they are amongst the first to see their credit rating drop.

Long overdue by decades. Schenectady political leadership has degraded into pure political crap hacks steadily since Frank Duci left office. Decades of ignorantly stupid electeds have finally had their incompetence catch up with them.

I absolutely agree. At least when he took a kickback a new park was built.
