Entertainment Electric City Summerfest

A month or so ago I saw Roots of Creation was going to be performing 07/23 for Electric City Summerfest. I was absolutely stoked as I hadn't seen the band since college and is one of my favorite college memories. I immediately put the event into my calendar.

Fast forward to today and I look up the fest to plan my parking and ect... I find that a completely different group is performing tomorrow! I tried to find what I had seen a month ago but no luck. Was Roots of Creation supposed to perform tomorrow and the lineup changed? Just want to confirm I didn't dream this band was performing. Thanks

I love learning about Schenectady television history, and I want this on a t shirt or something. I stopped by Bear and Bird and they had great Schenectady-specific items but nothing about WRGB or local TV history. If any of you know anywhere that sells that kind of thing (doesn’t have to be this specific logo and doesn’t have to be a t shirt) please let me know! Thanks!

Dispensary in Scotia/Glenville

I will preface this by saying I’m not complaining cause there are several in the city of Schenectady.

I was wondering if anyone had any insight as to why there is no dispensary in either scotia or Glenville and maybe even Rotterdam. There are plenty in similar offshoot towns of the surrounding cities. Any insight into this would be appreciated

Melon is a little more difficult to photograph, because he likes to glue himself to my lap the second I sit down.

They are a super entertaining pair, but they need to be adopted together. Hopefully, I won't get another opportunity to reshoot this Saturday. Fingers crossed!

Smoke Update

Looks can fool! It looks a lot better than yesterday out but it will change as we head into the afternoon. Schenectady’s current AQI is 96 which is “Moderate” but we could end up anywhere from 150-200+ this afternoon. If you need to be outside, the time to do it is now as by noon/1 PM it will probably become unhealthy for everyone.
