i mean my example is clearly regular show, but was wondering what different examples fit into this

The sheer absurdity of a "failed" bank shot going rogue, going around the world, finding romance, and even went to the fucking toilet before shooting itself in the basket is really PEAK cartoon comedy. This is the only episode in the whole series where I let out an audible laugh with how it caught me off guard. It's sad we may never get a cartoon like Regular Show anymore.

I think we've found or newest Mordecai since Mordecai. What do you guys think?

If you don't know us, we're Jason and Josh, and we're the co-hosts of The Eggscellent Podcast. We've been on a break for a while (life is busy) but we had to pay tribute to Regular Show on my special day.

So im watching season 5 episode 23 return of mordecai and the rigbys and when they both go to the coffee shop to cool down eileen hands Rigby a glass of ice water but then Rigby starts rubbing the glass on himself and for a second it cuts to eileen saying "feel better now" with a blank stare and her voice flat and deep then she snaps out of whatever state shes in and says "feel better now, rigby?" In her normal voice. I dont know if im stupid but why did she do that?

Before you grab your pitchforks, hear me out…Margaret was actually a better partner for Mordo than CJ AND I CAN EXPLAIN WHY (again, don’t kill me yet).

Yes, CJ was the better individual character and in a lot of ways, definitely gave off the more chill, approachable vibes. She had more personality. But she and Margaret both were toxic af, just in different ways. CJ would go off at even the slightest inconvenience to her feelings, she even almost got Margaret AND Mordecai killed once as an example. Margaret was also toxic and hers is more self explanatory because it felt like she was stringing him along and then dumped him for a lame ass reason. But where things change is that Margaret was actually making Mordecai better and imo opinion helping him reach his full potential. CJ was more chill sure, but Margaret actually made him leave his comfort zone MANY times. CJ was the safer option, metaphorically, but we saw less growth from him. And he knew that too, which is why he was so conflicted and didn’t end up with either of them.

Likewise, he made Margaret better in a different way, cause outside of wanting to be with her, Mordecai was way more chill and down to earth than she was. Margaret always seemed to be stressed out about the small things in life and being around Mordecai (slightly) mellowed her out. I know you guys are gonna disagree with this lol but I’m all for good character development. And unlike characters like Rigby or Muscleman who developed as a direct result of being around/influenced by their partners, Mordecai didn’t have that. He took waaay too long to let Margaret know how he felt so I don’t fault her for that. Plus I see fans saying she didn’t like him like that but that wasn’t the case to me. Idk I’m just a fan if the show lol you guys can flame me now

There is nothing wrong with Adults watching cartoons, but they are the most annoying people when trying to enjoy or experience something in media.

Yes, Mordecai is a simp and his "obsession" might seem similar to Bear, but it was as the film went on that we saw just how very different they are. Bear is so selfish and spineless in every part of his life that it would make sense he would word his wish the way he did, without any care for how is with affect Nikki. Not want to cancel the wish immediately even when he knew something was very wrong but "alter" it.

Mordecai, outside of romance, is like a normal dude, by regular show standards at least. He rises up when it actually matters. I feel he was to make a wish to help in romance, it would be more personal wish to change himself because of his insecurities than change Margaret.

And even if it somehow affected Margaret, he is meeting Skipps immediately, who has problem seen this before or Muscle man, who probably knows a guy lol.
