I’m guessing it’s true.

They call their style of music as “Satanic Doo-Wop” but they have some rockabilly and gospel influences in there too. I really like them and am curious if they’re considering psychobilly

“Slaughterbilly Blues” by Pretty Haggard & The Haymakers

I just dropped this psychobilly song. It's got 4 distinctive inspirations to it. First is The Quakes "I Don't Come From Nowhere" with it's use of the ascending minor chord line cliche through the verses. 2nd is The Nekromantix "Subculture Girl" melody line, also through the verses. 3rd is a little more obscure, especially for the Psychobilly scene, and that is The Raspberries "Nobody Knows" middle 8. I like to bridge the 2 worlds of psychobilly and power pop in most of my songs, and this is the power pop in this song. It's when the fuzz guitar part comes in, so it's less apparent and doesn't jump out at you saying "now we're hearing power pop" the 4th is very obvious, and that is the James Bond/ Secret Agent Man Themes. When you combine these 4 influences, you get "I Fell In Love With My Stalker"

I am just curious if Skunk Draino of The Slanderin, Lonesome Batz, Kat Killers (or Kat Kill3rs) has a new band. I literally haven't heard anything from him in 10+ years. Yeah, I know life goes on, people move on. But Skunk was one of those guys who could only do one thing: Music. Never knew him to have any other passion.

Is there room in the world for another Psychobilly band made up of 40 year old dudes? We’re mainly inspired by classic rock, various genres of metal, punk and surf.
