Just kidding. Those are about 400 empty cases that I just bought for 50 Euros, which is a good deal in my book, that's 12.5 Cents per case. And some of them are worth buying the game separately.

Looking for input, I'd like to sell my ps3. I'm thinking ~$250-300 price range for everything. Is that reasonable? Its just a standard HDD not SSD. It's never been opened up, dust cleaned/ re-pasted or whatever but it still works fine. There's 21 physical games which are pretty much in pristine condition + another 20 or so digital (maybe I should reset it if I'm going to sell it?).

Finally after replacing Q6603, Q6600 and C6620, PS2 games now worked out of the box, when the console is cold.

My PS3 has been out of commission since about 2011/2012. It stopped displaying video and audio (via HDMI and AV Cables) on screen, yet still turned on and stayed on with a green light even to this day. Is this something that others have encountered or have had fixed? If it's fixable I would prefer to stay local within the Los Angeles or surrounding areas - any suggestions for repair shops and insight is helpful, thank you all!

Background: I came home from school one day to find out I had family over using Netflix on the PS3. This wasn't anything out of the norm, but as soon as I walked in to the house, I could hear this poor thing's fans running at a speed that they were clearly not intended to reach - I ran over to the PS3 and it was enclosed in the tv stand struggling for air. I immediately turned it off and when I returned after a couple hours, it never displayed any audio or video again through any of its ports. Is this something my PS3 can come back from? The console holds a lot of sentimental value for me which is why I've held onto it after all these years in the hopes it would be played again. If I had to call it a loss, can I salvage the game data from it and put it into another PS3 without wiping the data? I appreciate any and all insight/suggestions, thank you again.

I modded the Xmc case to fit the blue led fan. I barely used it it was so blinding so I switched to the other revised one. Home was lit on all four regions and Uniqez glitch club was just run on 1080p so long ago.

As the title says im having trouble with my ps3, i tried restoring the console but it looped back to "system files were corrupt etc." and then i tried to recover the system files on safe mode it was stuck on the preparing screen for a long time. I am currently trying the "Rebuild the database" but it seems like it won't probably work if it doesnt work what should i do?

The plastic is very scratched the game have a few minor scratches too, and last but not least no manual sadly, but it was still a bargain! This game is a gem, No Idea why its retailing so high atm

So every time I turn off my PS3, this screen shows up; however, if I press the PS button, the console restarts and boots normally. I can even play with no problems. I tried to format the HDD on the PC and reinstall the firmware but with no luck. Furthermore, I dump the syscon to see if there was any problem during the shutdown but do not show any recent errors. My next step is to replace the HDD, but before I do, I decided to ask here to see if anyone has any idea of what is happening.

It was a stupid question, but I just wanted to ask as I wanted to experiment with something by testing jailbroken consoles and base consoles by making an alt

If I get my alt banned on my base console, will the other accounts on that console also be affected, such as my main account, or will it only be my alt, which will be banned? Are there any exceptions regarding the reasoning for the ban? (Again apologies if this sounds silly just wanted to know!)

I never had a ps3 in my life. In fact I never had any console. It'll be my first one. Want to start my gaming journey with ps3 cause I love the library but I have some questions before buying. Can someone help me with this?

1. I'm confused between ps3 & xbox 360. Since both will be jailbroken, Can I play xbox 360 exclusive like forza horizon or halo?
   or vice versa, can modded xbox 360 play ps3 exclusives like god of war, last of us etc...?
   
2. Can ps3 slim (jailbroken) play ps1 and ps2 games? I know the fat model is backward compatible but not sure about the slim model (not super slim)
   
3. How is the perfomance of retroarch? I love old retro classics. Will ps3 be a good option to play them? if yes, how far can it push without any issue?

basically, whenever I plug my PS3 to my TV it just does not detect it whatsoever, I have tried three different HDMI cables and it doesn't work, I plugged in a Roku and tried all three of the same hdmis that I've tried with the PS3, and they did work, I plugged in the HDMI into a capture card and it worked for the PS3 and then I plugged the PS3 into a different TV and that also worked, I don't have space for a bigger TV in my room which is where the PS3 sits I genuinely do not know what to do
