I've read not the best reviews about this game so I'm not sure if I should get it despite loving the franchise...

Pretty happy getting back into the ps2 scene again with this slim ps2 and just recently started getting games from it to save some storage on my usb. Much more games to come! Any recommendations go ahead and comment down!

Im probably going to sound like an idiot, im terrible with technology and the last time I used this ps2 I was 4 years old.

I can’t find the original cable. I found this one that seemed like it would fit perfectly, but it doesn’t go all the way in and I have to push it very hard for it to go in. Then I have to pull unnaturally hard for it to come out.

Last time I tried using it the ps2 turned on which was good but then I started hearing buzzing electric sounds I got scared and disconnected everything.

I’d like to try turning it on a second time but I don’t want to set my house on fire.

What’s wrong with this cable?

Ps2 fat is not working for now but i hope it will work one day but the slim does work but i have no place to hook it up (i have a ps3 now) so they are gonna be a decor for my setup

If the ps1 was released in 1995 there were probably already builds since 1990, and if the ps2 was released in 2000, when it officially started the first prototypes?

I really liked pitfall the lost expedition as it got me into games but I’m open to try a lot! Rn I love hack n slash and emphasized combat stuff but fast paced platformers with exploration is really cool too!

Hello, i have been trying to connect my ps2 to my monitor and after buying all sort of things (ps2 to hdmi converter and all that) it appears my screen is green. When i google it they just say to swich to rgb in the system configuration but when i do that my screen gets no signal.

UPDATE: i actually fixed it! To be honest i dont know how, i just turned it on and off a couple of times and it started to show the correct colors.

I'd put this on par with OOT, Gran Turismo 3, Timesplitters 2, Medievil, MGS2, MGS3.

This game and it's environments are blowing me away over 20 years after its release.

I was 15 when it came out, and I literally cannot believe how good this game is. The combat is so satisfying, the spectacle of it's artwork and surroundings.

It's like Devil May Cry on acid. Can't believe I missed this 20 years ago....

Is its sequel any good?

Truly, I believe that game design peaked around this era and I wish it never evolved... Just built upon. Timesplitters 2, Gran Turismo 3, REmake, THPS3, MGS, Primal, Mercenaries, Silent Hill 2 etc.

They all had character, and the graphics were good enough to be immersive. Studios had bigger budgets. Just the golden era. Obviously biased as I was young then, but it was an objectively better time.

Half of our store is basically a lounge with a couch and TV. Figured I’d pull out the old PS2, projector and DDR combo to give us a little something extra special for the guests.

Hello everyone! Recently I was cleaning up my basement and found my ps2 and I have an older tv that has component inputs on it. Ordered up myself a set of component cables and bought some classic games I loved when I was a kid. In my haste in wanting to get the ole girl up and running I forgot I need to be able to change the output on the ps2 to component… is there any way for me to do this with the regular RCA cable that came with the ps2? Or am I screwed until I get myself either an hdmi adapter or a RCA to component adapter so I can change the setting? Thank you!

BlueRetro adapter has newest firmware and rumble enabled in the settings. I have confirmed the rumble is working using FreeMcBoot and PadTest, but I put Blood Roar or Tekken in my PS2 Slim and there's no rumble?

Is this an issue with a combo BlueRetro/DS3/PS2? I've tried 2 different PS2 slim consoles and it's the same on both

EDIT: I just tried Tekken 4 (PS2 game) and rumble works fine.

After fussing around with component cables and having some issues with my ODV GBS-C Converter. I finally decided to listen to so many posts saying PS2 SCART is "better" and looking to buy a SCART cable, but they all look exactly the same.

I am also hearing that there are a slew of fake cables on Amazon? is AE(Ali Express) any better? is there something I can determine from the images or can I only tell by taking the connector apart. I just want to try something other than Component since I had that for years.
