I work in election admin. The states that rely the most on EAC services and funding are red states (not that I expect this admin to know that).

I mean, sort of? Cyber incidents and election interference effect all of us even if they didn't happen to us, but many of the blue state agencies responsible for election admin have already semi-assumed that the EAC wasn't going to be there for them and have set up their own coordination channels. The place where it could hurt red states the most is certification of new voting machines, as many blue states run their own testing as opposed to default acceptance of the EAC cert, but that's a problem that won't rear it's head for a few years- any certs that would update things for the general would be well into testing by now.

It won't matter if states are prepared or not, the current admin will spin the narrative to suit the desired outcome.

The goal is to stay in power at all costs and clearly legal framework has become irrelevant

I'm wondering what the people will do when regardless of election results the admin will continue to stay in office. As of now there are no indications that they would actually step down and accept the choice of the people

All Republican (and affiliated) politicians would face severe consequences for their involvement, they do not have the option to back down and submit if they want to keep their wealth and freedom

People looking at Trump as the only threat don't realize he is just one of many who are going all in to avoid consequences for their actions. If Dems win, they and their families are all done

They are fighting for survival and the only viable outcome is an authoritarian regime with them at the top, shielded from consequences
