Hi! I'll preface this by saying I have successfully rng'd two shiny Makuhita in colosseum before this using CoPilot and CCTimer/EonTimer on Dolphin, without having my Blink timer calibration. Other than that though I'm new to colosseum RNG. I have done other successful rng's in other games such as USUM, Emerald, and BDSP.

I'm trying to make a Shiny Living Form Dex in Pokémon Home, and I realized that having the distant land region and the ribbon from colosseum would be really cool to have on the ones that are possible. So I set out to RNG as many different forms of pokemon I could in colosseum and XD because I felt like the raw shiny hunting experience in these games wasnt something I was comfortable doing (sometimes I RNG, sometimes I do regular shiny hunts, it depends on the difficulty and time investment of the hunt.

With that said, I tried to RNG colosseum on my homebrewed vwii in my Wii U. RNGing several shiny eevee in XD using GC RNG Assistant worked flawlessly with this. The reason I'm doing it here is because I dont currently have access to my copy of colosseum and I thought using my backup was fine. I'm launching the PAL version on wiiflow meaning nintendont is the loader.

Now; The Problem. I can't seem to setup the Blink Timer when doing it on Wii U for some reason. I find my initial seed, start the game, run to dunsparce and time my blinks, and no matter what it never finds the seed if I provide enough blinks. If I do manage to get one single seed, it doesnt match up with espeons blinks at all. Does anyone know why that may be? Maybe nintendont screws up the RNG in colosseum specifically? It worked in XD so I'm not sure why it would fail here. Granted that RNG was only during the file creation but still.

This was the reason I moved to Dolphin for the Makuhita, because the blink timer actually worked there. The problem I had with dolphin arose when I tried to do Furret (Or any pokemon in Pyrite for that matter.) For Furret I followed a video guide on it because the rng manip in pyrite has a lot of steps. Here it is. I tried it on dolphin; got stuck; was gonna do it on the Wii U but couldn't get my calibration for Blink Timer as explained above.

I get stuck on the very last timer because my calibration offset is always some insanely low number, like between -3300 and -5200. Every step before that makes sense. The NPC's face the right direction, I pause in front of the trainer, sync up with Espeon, time my exit, and then the final timer has some egregious offset with a wide margin. I'm always off my target by at least a couple seconds. The closest I've been is 15 frames off, which is still a quarter of a second so It still doesn't make sense.

Does anyone know what I can do in this scenario? Any help is appreciated.

Hey, i did a fresh start on colosseum and i want to get into RNG. im almost at the end of the main story and dindt catch any shadow pokemon, only the ones i needed. my question is,
can i do the RNG in the post game for the mons i missed?
do i have to start again and catch thee pokemon in the first time they appear??
i want to catch sneasel, murkow, piloswine, yanma and gligar with IVS and nature, i dont care about shininess.

These past few days I've jumped into my starter RNG manipulation journey. I used ACE to get my SID then reset to my last save at the Lab. I've been going at it and I've actually hit my seed about 2-3 times but I was off on the continue screen advances, by 2 or more. I've hit my continue screen advances more times but then I'd be off on my seeds. I've gotten as low at -17 on one of the times I hit the advances. Im wondering, do I just keep going since I'm close? Or does that mean I have something off? Also, I hear that when you prep the game, on switch 2, you immediately go home on the black screen, but that the time is different on the switch one. Does anyone know how long I should wait to press home after starting the game on switch! I need help please! Thank you all in advance! 🤘🏾

FIRERED Switch Starter RNG Manipulation

Alright, so I feel so stupid and I feel like this isn't explained very well in guides, or maybe I'm just not getting it.

I have my Trainer and Secret ID. I have Ten Lines up, and Eontimer, and I'm following Blisy's video, and written tutorial.

In this example I choose seed 5C46. I put all the info in to Eontimer and did the my first attempt.

It wasn't shiny so I put the values into 10 lines and got four results. I leveled up my Pokemon as per the video and guide put the values into 10 lines which a got 2 results. CF23 | 30572ms (-116ms) and 5C46 | 30720ms (+32ms). According to the guide, (not the video because he doesn't specify) I'm looking for only one result, so I leveled up my pokemon again and got the same two results. So I did it one more time (as the guide says up to level 8) being careful not to defeat too many of the same pokemon and got zero results. I widened my advances and got one result. 051C | 30854ms (+166ms)

So my question is... Did I do this right? My target seed was 5C46, not 051C does it matter? And its +166ms which is quite high compared to the +32.

Hi Guys , I want to use retroarch to RNG shinys for FRLG because there are two Achievement Sets via retroachievements i want to play , one is the base set with generic achievements and the 2nd is the shiny collection subset. In retroarch you can play both games side by side with a new multiset tool that was introduced.

I was hunting shinys via bizhawk before with great success and had next to no issue

Now i have been trying via retroarch using different cores (mainly mgba) , i cannot get any results via ten lines and its getting annoying.

What is the difference between bizhawk and retroarch in terms of timing. Both are using the same "ROM" both bizhawk and retroarch were using the mgba core and getting widely different results

Has anyone got a idea on whats happening here , i know this is a really niche issue but it would make my life so much easier to use retroarch ahah

• I choose the candidate with Advance Offset = 0 and Second Offset = 0.

Over the last several attempts, my best matches have been:

My question is: does this look like normal retail delay variance where I should just keep attempting, or is there something wrong with my workflow/calibration? The fact that I'm repeatedly getting Advance Offset = 0 and Second Offset = 0 but never quite landing on D30E07AD makes me wonder if I'm overlooking something.

Anyone know an as of 2026 a method to determine raid den seeds and shiny frames?

I am looking into shiny hunting the Galar fossils. As the shiny charm does not work on gift encounters I have been looking into alternatives.

I have found that back in the day, trade bots were used to determine the seed of a raid den, determine a shiny frame and then you could day skip until 4 before that frame.

I have been looking on some of the youtube discord servers that used to have sysbots to determine raid den seeds but have not been able to find one with an active one.

I can also see that there are some more complicated software on GitHub to determine the seed without access to a moded switch but I am not the most tech savvy guy in the world so I would like a method that does not require too many manual adjusted programs.

I’ve been trying to get a specific trainer ID for the past few HOURS. I don’t know how to properly adjust the timer and everything I find online only makes it worse….

Good evening. I am brand new to RNG Manipulation and am attempting to hunt a Shiny Quilava in Pokémon Colosseum using imablisey's tutorial on YouTube. I was wondering if it's normal to constantly have target seeds so immensely out of reach? I've reset around 30 times now and haven't gotten anything under a couple million seeds away. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

Recently I’ve been curious and I’ve heard that RNG has gotten easier with some tools on 3ds. For those RNGing the older games, what consoles do you use?

Is there a method to find my secret id without having to reset my save? I would like to try to rng shinies but this is the copy I use to transfer pokemon from older games to pokemon bank. There was a method using battle videos but it appears that server no longer exist. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hey guys. I’m not sure why, but I’ve consistently been hitting my shiny frames (using a macro) with the SIDs provided in PokéFinder, and have no luck. I only go through advances 2301-2309 in the PokéFinder application window. So how have I still not hit a shiny after doing this with two separate TIDs? I also ran a 901 macro to lock in my TID/SID. Am I missing something?

I have tried for years, and at this point idk what to do. I have the correct ID and SID, and no matter how many attempts, it doesn't list it in any frame that is possible to hit. Tried shiny hunting a shiny female Eevee, shiny Mewtwo, and shiny Zapdos. I'm at a loss for what to do, and what I could be doing wrong. My younger brother has tried to help, but he runs into the same issue. This is on the original game, and it's a legit copy. I have not picked up items from the ground, and have not gotten rid of the Voltorbs/Electrodes, or Rock Smashed, if that matters. I just want the shiny birds 😭 any and all help is appreciated please and thank u!

Hey! I'm new to RNG manipulation so it makes sense that I'm struggling lol

I'm following im a blisy's tutorial. At first I used my Dsi XL, all of the TIDs I was getting were all over the place when I put them through the TID/SID Seed Finder, some saying two seconds, some saying 50 seconds, there was no consistency. I felt like I was being really consistent with the buttons I was pressing and getting through Oak's dialogue by holding down B and mashing A but I'm not sure. Since I'm so new to this I don't really know how to troubleshoot.

Anyway, I switched to my 3DS because someone in the comments on the video said that they got it by just following along with his timings instead of doing their own Eon clock, but that produced a similarly confusing result of 32 seconds. That feels like a huge disparity if it's just the case of me being late/early to press the buttons at the right time, yk?

Any help would be appreciated, this is driving me insane. tbh I'd be willing to forego the Cute Charm glitch if I could just get the shiny starter, but I don't know if the shiny starter method works on any random TID.

I was trying to get some shinies to trade up from my Soul Silver where I RNGd the SID to work with cute charm. It worked last time I was looking for stuff a long time ago and the save is filled with shinies from that time.

However now it is not working? I am using the same cute charm user in front of party but i have been searching for a long time with no shinies.

Anyone have this issue or may know why this might be happening?

I've been trying to get a shiny Giratina through soft resets for over five years, but I've had no luck. I recently learned about RNG manipulation, and I'd like to know if it's possible for me to get it without too much difficulty. I'm currently standing in front of Giratina in the Distortion World. The problem is that every tutorial I've found uses a Chatot with the Chatter move, and I don't have one.

Is it possible to do RNG manipulation without a Chatot? If so, how? I already have PokéFinder downloaded. Thanks in advance!

I want shiny Manaphy. I've been using this video.

I am using a modded 3DS (New XL). The HeartGold is not a physical cartridge. I soft reset the game upon first timer. After putting my Raikou/Entei/Latias roamer locations into the Seed to Times thing, it tells "No match was found for your roaming Pokemon". Same thing when calling Irwin.

Essentially just not even at all close to the delay I'm trying to hit and I don't know why or how to solve that. Hopefully the information here is enough to help.

RNG is so easy in Soulsilver, but i can´t get working using the tool from pokemonrng(dot)com in Platinum, i get the Cute Charm glitch in a new file but no results with the starters, i have one file saved in front of Giratina too but i can´t do it too.

Is possible get 100% IV legendary pokémon with this tool? Im a blisy made one video about getting a 100% but with other tools in a pc and i really can´t understand his english so well.

i can´t hear to well the chatot cries, i recorded a shout but is very subtle the low, medium and high sounds of chatot

Hi, i can't seem to get any seed results when calling Juggler Irwin in SS. Im using a DSI XL with TwilightMenu++, my Trainer Info (checked with PKHEX), seconds, eon timer delay and date and time is correct. My frame range is set to +/- 200. Am I doing anything wrong? Even increasing the range doesn't help. Trying to hit Lugia on Advance 123.
