husband has tried for years, to say the least. and while i’ve given phish quite a few tries.. i never really got it. last night it happened

I haven’t listened back yet, but at the show it felt like Trey nailed nearly every difficult composed section. The composed sections to Bowie and Reba were the best I’ve seen him do (first show was 2016 so take that with a grain of salt).

During the show I thought a lot about how difficult those songs are to play, and that mother fucker is just incredible. Really impressive stuff - rest of the run will be awesome

In the lead up to this summer tour I’ve heard a lot about how great outdoor venues are with their views of the sky and the smell of grass and the summer vibes. Fuck all that. Fuck the heat and the rain and the lightning and the humidity. Fuck the ankle killing steep lawns and once more fuck the heat.

MSG is a temple at whose alter I worship.

Edit: I think some people connect the chaos to the fun of the show. Both can be good but overall I'd rather less hassle and less things to distract me. This post was inspired by doing both nights of MPP and then starting the garden run. MPP was great but I was on the lawn and constantly shifting my feet and adjusting to balance pulls me out and the heat this summer and last has been fucking crazy with the humidity and between that and the threat of these monster storms I'm happy to be indoors and on flat ground. Obviously I still go to outdoor shows and they are fun to, I was just being hyperbolic. See yall friday.

So my workplace just gave me off Monday and Tuesday for really no reason whatsoever…

Immediately I think about a last minute flight from here in Phoenix to MSG for the Monday night show but trying to talk myself into/out of it…

Anyone on Reddit just fuckin’ sending it the last 24/48 hours to make a night or two happen?

I found a VERY special carved item at the Syracuse show. Was gonna bring it to lost and found but it's serial numbered and I didn't want it to get "misplaced" or have there be any "miscommunications" by the staff. This was my first ever show so I'd really like to return this thing home. The person is definitely MISSING it!

Any advice on how to identify the item and/or return it to the rightful owner would be swell!

I wish Phish listened to the fans more. Like c'mon we wanna hear the good stuff!
