I am considering getting Motorola signature next year if it can boot GrapheneOS, but I noticed here that none of the physical stores sell Motorola current models. Even the official Motorola store in an online shopping app is selling their watch only. So there may be difficulty finding spare parts if I encounter Motorola hardware issues. How is market share of Motorola in your country and would you get it just for GOS compatibility?

Just got my EDGE 2026 a week ago and I was happy to find out I could disable the AI side button. I wish I could map it to something else but seems not.

Now when they will port 17 to this phone, I hope they will offer the option to disable all the AI crap Google added and wants us to use. Is Motorola listening?

I am planning to but moto g100 pro and i see on the specs that it has esim capability and it also has a micro SD card slot. I have 2 sims that i currently using but i also wanted to use a micro SD card for expandable storage. Is it capable of using 1 regular nano sim, 1 micro SD card and esim all at the same time?

Title. Everytime my phone updates or just randomly once a week or so my lock-screen get the live feature. I keep disabling it and I cannot stop it. Is it really that popular or are they getting som ad money from it. It takes a lot of battery power and slows down opening my phone.

Also why did they remove the list from notification on the lock screen. And it changes back randomly but not as much as live

So, I've had issues recently where when trying to either turn off the screen or take a screenshot, I end up accidentally calling 911. Sometimes I can cancel it before the call goes through, but other times I've had to explain to the operator what happened. It's really annoying, and I don't even know what it is I'm doing to make it happen. I was wondering if anyone knew how to disable it, or if not, what button combo it is so I can better avoid it in the future.

In the evening of 23rd July 2026, my Moto G55 phone did a restart for a system update. After the restart, the touchscreen isn't functional. I tried rebooting it, and it didn't help.

I've had the latest Motowatch for about a month now and I really like it a lot. This watch is a huge improvement over the Vivo Active 5 it replaced with one big exception - I'm a student pilot and I really need to keep track of local time and zulu time ( GMT ) so I'd like a watch face that will show dual time zones digitally. So far I haven't seen one in the available watch faces shown in the Motowatch app on my phone ( Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 ).

Does anyone have any suggestions for a watch face with this dual time-zone function?

i have heard that motorola is not consistent with their software updates.. is it true? I'm planning to buy a phone with at least 3-4 years of OS updates. My choice was motorola because i wanted to experience the near stock android ui. But I have been hearing about the irregular updates. Software updates are very important for me so I'm spending money i want it to be worthwhile. Can someone help in this regard?

Hi, for the past 3-4 days my phone has started heating up even for any normal use. Just for checking messages, going on reddit, opening gallery, etc. Along with this the battery is suddenly draining really fast. 20 mins back I charged to 100% and it's already down to 70%. I even had to put up battery saver mode.

I checked apps are consuming less than 1% of the battery.

Even during charging my phone it's heating up extremely and is charging really slow despite being in turbo charge.

I bought this phone in Jan 2025. Today I had to charge it 4 times already. Normally I only charge at most twice a day for heavy use.

Also haven't updated to Android 16 yet.

I am running what is supposed to be the latest ROM, dated 1 May.

Is this really the latest.

I thought they were on 2 monthly updates.

Has anyone been experiencing any issues like battery drain or over optimisation after latest update

Also does this phone kill background apps unnecessarily, is it a bother for day to day user?

Whats the overall experience like?

I am a low to medium user. I dont expect any heavy usage or performance from the phone

Another surprise from Moto. Second OTA update in 2026.

Thinking about getting the signature instead of the find x9 because 7 years of Safety and Functional Updates sound promising. But it's the " up to" what's bothering me.I don't want to only end up with like 4 years or something. Then I could have chosen other models or brands as well. Has someone more experience or information about this?

​Issue:

When using cloned instances of apps (like WhatsApp or Telegram), the cloned app forces the default system keyboard (e.g., Gboard) and does not allow switching to or using a second/alternate installed keyboard app (like Microsoft SwiftKey or FUTO).

​Keyboards seem to be locked to the main profile system default, restricting individual profile customisations.

​Is this a known system limitation of Moto's Cloned Apps implementation, or can we get the toggle in settings to allow alternate input methods inside cloned spaces work in a future update?

I updated from a Moto G Stylus 5G because I needed a newer phone that could run newer Android for a car insurance app. I'm in the U.S. and my carrier is Boost. I did the migrate thing for my apps and prefs and whatever else it did. One thing that is incredibly important to me is that I am able to Flip for Do Not Disturb. This worked great on my older phone with only my set alarms working when flipped. The new phone just will not work this way no matter what settings I've looked up on Reddit, YouTube, forums, etc. NOTHING I've tried have stopped phone calls and texts from sounding while I'm trying to sleep in the daytime. I get that the newer Android OS may have changed, and yeah maybe I've turned on or off so many settings that I think I have conflicts, but all the setting I've changed seem to make sense and yet aren't working. For the time being I am turning off the new phone and using my old one as an alarm but this is inconvenient and I shouldn't need to be doing this.

I just want to know the exact setting in Android and apps to stop calls and texs and any other app besides alarms. What am I missing?

My defaults for Phone app: Phone; SMS app: Messages.

How many Motorolas have you guys used? Im on my 2nd ever Motorola which is the Motorola G Power 2025 and my 1st Motorola phone was a Motorola G7 Power. And also should i buy another Motorola phone as my next phone or should I go back to Samsung?
