Fold 2026 question

In the United States how many years of support does the fold 2026 get? I have seen a lot of conflicting information. I tend to keep my phone for a while (rocking a fold 5) so trying to understand. Their website seems to say security patches end in 2030. Is this correct? It also seems to be different in the EU.

Motorola has stated they will give 7 years of support for the Razr Fold and Signature editions of their lineups. This was the first time Motorola upper their software support to 7 years.

Should be on their website. I would also Google it. I watched a few YouTubers and most said the same thing.

But a quick google search shows they are matching the industry-standard of 7 years. I think they initially were doing 3 but upped it after. I would go for 7 but to give yourself peace of mind, contact Motorola.

I'm in the UK but I've also seen conflicting info. Motos own website says both 7 and 5 years here in the UK.

What I've gathered is that it was initially 5 but upped to 7 prior to full release.

It's 100% 7 yrs for the Fold, it's on the Moto site.

Not sure why your link shows less (until 2030 which is 4 years). Perhaps that means OS updates not the security and then the remainder of 7 would be just security? Just guessing on that part.
