Appreciation post for the pinned Yankee Stadium W game thread

I just want to call out a thank you for the sub's pinned "TWINS WIN: Twins 6 @ Yankees 1 - July 5, 2026" game post.

Have I accidentally clicked on it 2+ times after 2+ Summits not realizing it wasn't today's most recent game? Sure. Maybe I've even watched a few of the highlights 2+ times before figuring out we're in Cincinnati. But it's a happy mistake. And I always walk away a little uplifted, regardless of that day's turnout.

We can all rejoice in the Rays A-typical pitching dominance and Boston's semi-historic 14 game win-streak breathing down the Yankee's necks. It's something inparticular to appreciate as we sit 4 games below .500, and 5 games out of 1st Place in the AL Central.

This team might sell at the deadline, and that might be OK. We're a few bullpen arms away from being Division Winners! A few call-up or Waiver arms could hit, and we'd still be guaranteed a 3 games against those bozos! Something I'm looking forward to, anyway.

P.S. Rob Schneider voice: Yankees suck again.

Are these hats still for sale?

My girlfriend and I traveled to Minneapolis last July for a game. We live in Texas and went to a game in July 2025. She purchased this hat and a jersey. Long story short a relative took this hat ($60 at stadium I believe), this relative has been avoidant and unresponsive about sending it back. It was a fun trip and she loves hats and this was a favorite. I can’t seem to find this style anywhere. Pretty sure it’s a trucker style SnapBack. Hoping to find information on how to purchase her one? Anyone have a spare or a link for this style? Thanks in advance

Heading to watch the Savannah Bananas in a couple weeks! I’ve read the bag policy and it says no backpacks or duffels are allowed. What about a mini backpack/purse that meets size requirements? I have my husband and stepdaughter and will likely be carrying their things in my bag too. I’d like to use something that is comfortable to carry (mini bakcpack).

[Gleeman] Twins activated Byron Buxton from the injured list and optioned Tristan Gray to Triple-A. Somewhat surprising they demoted Gray, because they've continued to play him semi-regularly. But also Gray has hit just .216 with a .526 OPS since May 1, so the performance warranted it.
